Bosley turns 1 year old today!!!!!
Bosley's litter was left at the shelter at 4 weeks old. They went into foster care until 8 weeks, then back to the shelter. He was 6 hours away and we heard about him through a rescue list I am on. Hubby always wanted an OES, so we arranged to have him sprung and transported. The intent was to foster, and then adopt if we decided to. Here he is at 8 weeks old. 
Oh, no. He had a tail. Hubby was not impressed. It wasn't right, and it took him a long time to get over it, but now he prefers them with a tail. We heard all about the nasty temperaments that the OES's have  so were determined to do things right by him. He went to puppy class, and we took him every where with us. We laughed at his antics, like falling off a porch into some bushes, and locking himself in the closet, and when he got neutered he got his head and cone stuck in the toilet.
I found this forum and was suddenly surrounded by bumbling Bosleys'. Never have I been with a group of dog people who brag about the silly things their dogs do, and actually celebrate their lack of manners and respect. This group has made me laugh and cry, and Bosley is definitely one of the gang. Here he is now: 
Bosley is a dear, sweet, gentle fellow who gives gentle, warm kisses, and will roll over for belly rubs. He hasn't met a person or dog that he didn't like. And if a person or dog doesn't like him, well, he moves on to find someone who does. I absolutely adore this dog, and I give him hugs and kisses every day. He destresses me and makes he smile. Happy birthday, Bosley, and here is to many, many, many more. |

| Happy Birthday Bosley!! What a beautiful story of falling in love!! As Maggie is ever the puppy at 16 months, I suspect you are still going to see some charming, silly antics out of your big puppy. Those pictures are great. He is really beautiful inside and out. |
