It is hard to do this today-but I must.

As most of you know, running a
Public site like oes.org is
Really a labor of love. Unfortunately,
I no longer have the
Large amount of time required.

For running oes.org is a large expense,
One that is both mental and psychological.
Oes.org has meant a lot to me, but now I must
Leave.
Sorry.

What?

So sad.....I heard Ron is entering a residential treatment program to deal with his uncontrollable addiction to furry 4-leggers.

See posting from April 1, 2005.
Dude.............. the thread should have been left as a sticky. MY HEART DROPPED! The other users made it beat again! I was SO CONFUSED to why you were leaving the website, but not asking for our help (in money) FIRST!!! I didn't think that was fair, and as I was reading it... was getting upset. 8)  THANK GOODNESS RON!!!

Oh, thanks for the reminder. Must call husband in Fairbanks now and make up something big. I think I'll tell him I'm pregnant.

Ha ha funnyman. I don't think you'll ever be free of oes.org. We are going to follow you around til the end of your days -- and then over the rainbow bridge as well. You can't escape! What you've started is too big to stop. So there!
Where in the WORLD BUT HERE could Ron find a group so willing to look at pictures of his tick bitten belly AND take them seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ron, I'm disappointed in you. I thought for sure that you'd have some new material for this year!

You're a clever boy, er Big Ugly Dude, Ron!

hahahahah ...my husband is so excited that I'm pregnant. I mean.. i think he is. It played out perfectly. He called. I said, did you get my message?

him: no?
me: I'm PREGNANT!!!!
him: are you sure? (in an excited/nervous voice)
me: Yes!!!!!!! I just got back from the commissary and bought a second pregnancy test. Oh my gosh.. my mom is on the other end, I've got to go.
him: oh my gosh!!!!!!!!!! (laughing)
Now he's telling his buddies.

He thinks I'm on the line with my mom right now telling her the news. I'm sure one of his buddies will tell him it's april fools, but "having another baby" has been coming out of my mouth for awhile now. Not to mention we just went to a birthday party where we talked about being excited about having another one (many girls in his unit are trying).

Anyway, at least he'll be on a high the rest of the day. To only be let down by his wife later.
Newscast:
"...and in other news: in an April Fool's joke gone horribly wrong [static] though nearly everyone survived, Anchorage will never be quite the same. Back to you."
Whoooooooo Hooooo no more lame jokes!!! Yipiiiiiiii!!!!

Wait what's that? You aren't leaving? Drat!!

Hey I was kidding anyhow. Right back at you! Happy April Fools!

Marianne and the boys :go:
LOL

He called back SO EXCITED. I'm still laughing. I thought he'd be somewhat disappointed since he's going to Iraq. Nope, he called his family and told everyone at work. That was like in what... 15 minutes?

He usually asks me if he can tell someone things since last time we waited until I was in the 2nd trimester before telling anyone.

Once he said his mom knew... I broke out APRIL FOOLS! a REAL april fools would have waited until later tonight (like I planned). I'm horrible at these things.

What would have been bad is if I really was pregnant. His sister will possibly get pregnant today (again after trying for prob 8 yrs) with invitro.

My mom (who I told the same thing) had to sit down. I told her immediately it was a joke though (after I said I'm pregnant). She didn't find it funny. Then found it hilarious that I told Mr. J that. Wanted in on it.

He deserved every minute of it for pranking me big last year. And then the Michael Jordan. :) Mr. J said I got him good and is kicking himself in the butt now (esp. since he has to tell his co-workers ...all guys who will make fun of him... that it was a false alarm).
Mr Joah is going BACK TO IRAQ 8O WHEN?????????????
Can we do another calendar or something to raise money and buy Ron some new material?

Clever writing Ron....

Awwwww Joahaeyo, hubby is probably sad now :(
OK gang, lets start planning now for a good reprisal to him next year.
