Louie's Nemesis
 ) This neighbor has a couple of cats that stay outside most of the time. One of these cats took an instant dislike to Louie. (I can't understand why-80 pounds of sheepie running towards you is nothing to be scared of  ) But this cat exacted revenge in a peculiar way. Louie pees on the bushes lining the far edge of our row. Most mornings the cat is there. Of course he runs when he sees Louie. But a few mornings ago the cat was nowhere to be seen. Except, when Louie went to pee the cat burst from the bushes right onto him.
I did not know Louie could jump that high.  Oh, the cat got the last laugh and now Louie peers at the bushes before he pees.

I'll try. Yesterday the cat was there with a buddy. The one ran but 'buddy' cat just sat there. Didn't even flinch when Louie was bouncing around. But the other cat came and retreved the buddy .
And Louie still approches the bushes ever.... so .....slowly... and peers beneath it. |
