Big, brave Sheepie...NOT!

There have been some earlier posts about these big, tough dogs...but here goes another one.

I live out in the country, and have a 1/2 acre fenced yard that you get to through the attached garage. Last nite it was last call for potty and I put Dixie out for last pee. A few minutes later I heard her barking. She is a quiet gal, so this was unusual for her. She was barking a deep, but kind of frantic bark, and she was right by the back door. There is a dog about a mile away that barks late at nite, so I didn't think anything of it, and just let her in.

Then I put Bosley out, and he started up almost right away. A deep, try-to-be scary bark, but almost trembling, if you know what I mean. And there was no way he was leaving the door area.
I went outside with him coaxed him onto the the grass, and give him the "go pee" cue, as I walked slowly towards the shed. All of a sudden out from some bushes a tiny bunny jumped out out and raced across my yard. I turned to see Bosley's reaction and he had already disappeared into the garage.

So, I guess that answers any questions about protection value. Wonder how he would handle sheep? 8O

LOL

I kind of like that they are big babies!
Just like my house! We have bunnies in our yard sometimes and they scare Barney...he'll be walking across the lawn to go to his 'spot' and out will jump a bunny and he'll forget about what he's out there for and just run back to the door begging to come in...
So Funny

Kinda thing Mitch would do .If he is scared he stands behind me and barks
