Need help women! (shopping)

I can't decide. Both would look elegant, but I'm not sure what will look better. I'm sick of trying to find what I want at the mall. It's either too expensive for my husband or ...what ever happened to normal designs? Nowadays I see comforters WAY too bold for my taste. Just wouldn't match our decor. Anyway... I've waited several months (positive I'd find something better), and we just can't wait any longer. Now I'll take anything. Out of these two, which one do you like?

Can't decide what my husband would like more (he's in the field for awhile). Want something before he gets back.

We have the same sleigh bed as shown in this picture if it helps you visual our bed.

I like both of them...I like the quilted look of the olive, but I think the first comforter will mask any stains or pet hair better...and we know how important that is!
I like them both too barney!! lol Help me decide. :P

yikes. i meant visualize
I like the second one better...the quilted plain olive.

Amanda
I have more of a modern taste so I like the second one better but the first one would help with stains.
So, the question is: style or practicallity?
I like quilted stuff-- the kind of stuff you can snuggle up in. The second one looks more like that. You'd also have a little more versatility with a solid color like olive if you wanted to redecorate the room a little later .

I'd love to have the microsuede myself but it's a hair magnet and I've got a shedder. It's a great deal, too. I have a giant down satin comforter, which is so warm and soft but the dogs get up on the bed and it's like they're wrestling on ice. It's so funny that I don't think I can ever get rid of it.
I like the second one too...you can change the look with pillows and bedskirt over time.....good hint design wise.....the larger pieces keep solid and smaller with design....will look more elegant...and easier to change out for a new look.....
okay, I bought the second one. I just needed some reassurance! thanks girls.
Good choice! I'm more of a plain jane and then dress it up kind of girl. Get tired of prints easily.
 no one liked MY choice- I like the fancier one! But then I'm also the girl with the victorian house  (see Karen's fancy stiped sofa!)

We need to get a new Duvet- the cats destroyed our old one... Note to self- NEVER buy easily snagged satiny duvets! So pretty when first purchased, now all raggedy looking
Yeah, I never go for my first pic, but thought it would be a nice change (and look classy). But guess I'm a wimp and afraid Mr. J won't L-O-V-E it. We are totally comforter/sheet snobs. Our last one that I thought was great is making my husband itchy. I think it WAS microfiber. So why did I choose another one? Well, I LOVE it and I'm hoping it wasn't the comforter like he thinks. It's no biggie because I could always use the guest bedroom comforter instead.
......the miro fiber is awsome, easy clean up...........I just bought a sectional in the mircrofiber......supposed to be the most durable fabric!!
Hate to change the subject but,

rebecca, how do you like the micro fiber on the sectional?? I am looking
to buy new furniture soon, and don't know if that might work for us.
I like the durability aspect but I am wondering about clean up, after all
I have kids, dogs and a HUSBAND! (he seems to be the sloppy one of
the bunch! )

Just wondering how you like it so far.

We have the microfiber suede on our couch and so far it's been great. We only have the two of us (adults) and Barney and the 3 cats (no kids or anything)...but it doesn't really stain and we havent had a need for a major cleanup. And, I don't know if this is microfiber in general or just our particular one, but if you get a stain on it that you can't get out, the company will send out professional people to get it out. If they can't get it out then they will give you a new couch...for the life of the couch!
Sounds pretty like a pretty good deal!!
I will have to check it out.
Thanks
