OES COATS

Hi, my name is lisa coleman and I do not own a dog but am really really interested in this beautiful, magnificent breed. Now before you say do you know what you are in for, Yes I do. I used own chinchilla persian cats, so hair does not bother me. my uestion is can you keep an OES coat trimmed all year round, or is this not recommended. Your reply would be greatly appreciated. :?:

P.S the reason that the word uestion is spelt that way is because the letter does not work.

I would say probably YES! (depending on your location, I'd guess).

We keep our dog in a "puppy cut" all year. We are in Boston, MA USA

When the weather is particularly cold, we put him in a coat before we go for a long walk. I don't know if he needs one, but it makes US feel better.

thank you very much for your reply. I wasnt sure if it would interfere with there oils or something
We keep our girl trimmed most of the year and our weather can go down to -35!!!! she doesn't go out all that much tho. I would say it depends on how much she'll be out and if you want to spend the time require on taking care of a long coat... Good luck!!!
