| Hi, Are you making sure that your older dog has time away from the pup?
When we got Merlin, Chelsea was 13 years old and did not need a pup bothering her all the time, so I put up gates and gave Chelsea time away from merlin at various times of the day. I also did not let Merlin get too rough with her. I didn't consult a behaviorist about this, I just did it. I would be interested in what the behaviourist tells you.  |
| Boy was I shocked at what I found out. I read on the K-9 aggression web site that I have a lot of behavior modification to do on my pup.He grabes my 8 year old around the neck and that is bad. He is to ware his gentle leader when ever he is in the room with wooly so I can correct his behavior. I was letting her stay in my sons room to get away from him but now I realize that that has made him the top dog even more No more hidding for wooly girl.( no more free grizzy) I will keep every one posted on how things are going thanks for your support I really need it . |
