I want to wish EVERYBODY ....

(Hippo Birdie 2 Ewes)

When I set up this section (or shortly thereafter), I made a conscious decision to try not to post a happy birthday message in here, because if I missed a single one, that person would be upset, and I'd feel terrible.

It's been hard and I may have slipped once or twice, but I've caught myself replying to birthday threads and deleted my replies many times. Now I feel terrible each time I don't reply.

Of course I realized a little while back, that perhaps I'm insulting EVERYBODY by not saying "Happy Birthday". Sigh. That's not my intent. It's a no win situation.

So here it is: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO EVERYONE!

You are so diplomatic.
Ron -- I hear ya! It was so nice to get birthday wishes on my birthday, but I also feel like I can't keep up and worry about offending or disappointing someone too so I've stopped replying to those threads so as not to give the impression that I care more about some members than others. . . I hope no one keeps track or takes it to mean anything. . .
LOL

I always worry about missing one too, and as the forum has grown it seems it is always someone's birthday. LOL
I'm not even that good remembering family members birthdays.
Ron, I am so glad you brought this up. I wish everyone a happy birthday, but never post it.

I THINK it and hopefully they get the vibes via telepathy...

So I hope nobody feels that I've been slighting anyone, or not getting into the groove or whatever.

I LOVE to read everyone's comments, but always feel that I can never make a happy birthday wish sound sincere. When I love birthdays and feel they are so important to celebrate.

Now that I think about it, I will try to respond, but may miss some, so I'm apologizing ahead of time.
Mine always seem to be belated  and I totally missed Daisy's birthday   and I forgot my husbands, whcih was yesterday    . Ron is the birdie a cross stitch pattern?
I dunno, I found it on the web through google images for "birdie"...

OK I redid the search. Yes, it's a crossstich pattern, and a freebie at that.

Darn it, Ron! You beat me to this post! I was going to say the same thing since I really suck at keeping up.

Hey, how about we just pretend like we're not getting older? That would be a heck of a birthday gift!
Happy birthday everyone!
Ron, I am glad to hear you felt terrible.

Well, just makes me know that I wasn't alone. I'm afraid to reply to anyone in the Crossing the Rainbow Bridge thread for that exact reason. So I avoid it because I can get so emotional that one post will be a page long while the next is simply "sorry to hear that." ...which to me isn't enough. Not to make this thread depressing.

Thanks for the warm wishes! I'll try to remember that when my birthday approaches this summer. ;)
