We had a battle with the mats in our house.. and lost. Went to the groomers today.. asked for a puppy cut... got a complete shave. Where's my snuggle bug?????
Took these at about 7:30 this morning....
And after the trip to the groomers.. this was lunch time...
It always shocks me when he comes home from the groomers...Oh, well, you win some.. you lose some. |

Wow you can really see the spaniel in him when he's shaved, especially when they leave all that ear hair.... I have no idea why they do that.... LOL
He is adorable anyway.... LOL |

You have my sympathy!!!! After a year of keeping Ty matt free something TERRIBLE happened this wee and he has suddenly become one solid matt from head to teo. I have NO IDEA what happened in such a short time. He gets bathed weekly, maltese have hair not fur and need to be bathed frequently, and has never matted. I don't know if last week I did not rinse him well and left some soap or conditioner in his hair but about mid week I started to notice little tiny matts that by the end of the week had become HUGE. TOday I need to tackle the mess and am afraid wse may be doing some clipping ourselves  |

I try to keep Patch mat free, but it does sneak up on you. She is a therapy dog and what most people like during our visits is her long hair. But I do have to take the clippers to her now and then. |
It's ok, hair grows back!!!! Enjoy the nekkid look for now  |
