Watching TV

Winston will watch TV sometimes but not for long. Well when my granddaughter was over she wanted to watch my little pony videos. I put them on for her and all of a sudden Winston and Caslyn were both sitting on the floor in front of the TV watching my little pony. Winston sat and watch the whole video and seemed to have really enjoyed it.

Does anybody else's dog sit and watch TV? And what is their favorite thing to watch?

That's the only thing Louie will do, too.
Bentley watches all dogs on TV, but starts barking at them whether they are barking or not, so there's no way I could watch a dog show.

He does the same for horses and cows.

He doesn't like people yelling or kids laughing/screaming either.

He's very particular about what he watches!

Jill . . . . no Animal Planet for you next weekend, LOL!

That is so cute!! What great company for your granddaughter too!
When we first got Dixie she ran to hide behind the couch every time the TV changed channels or a commercial came on. The she stopped running and came the day she actually sniffed the big screen. She got a shock and ran to hide again
Now her and Bosley just lay round and sleep when the folks are watching TV. I don't watch much, so am usually in the same room on the computer.
Ha Ha Ha, love that photo, yep I have square eyed tv watching sheepie girls, they love it. When they see a dog on the TV, brie goes up and sticks her nose on the screen, sniffs it, then looks behind the TV to see where it ran off too. Kelsey is worse, might have to buy specs for her with all the tv she watches. Favourite sheepie girl shows, well anything that has animals in it & the Kids show "the wiggles".
Sharkey, our American Eskimo, likes to watch the dog shows. Although he wasn't too interested in the Puppy Bowl. Baxter and Cassiopia, our sheepdogs - not interested in TV at all
Very cute picture. :D
When my two aren't wrestling they like to watch TV too.
Especially if there is a dog on TV.
Mine don't watch tv, they're too busy jumping on the couch. They want to snuggle (as close as possible, like in your lap or on your head) and then if one of them decides it's playtime, forget it, no one can watch tv. LOL
Milo loves Smallville. I don't know why....but thursday nights after dinner, I say "Time for Smallville", and he runs and jumps on the couch and waits.
Its the only show he has this kind of reaction to.
Milo sounds like the funniest dog!

Barney likes the dog shows and he'll bark and run to the door whenever a doorbell rings on tv...
AWWWWWWWWWWWWW that photo is priceless!!! Put a big smile on my face!

Marianne and the boys
Blue likes dog shows, but only when the dogs are on TV. He'll watch very intently until they switch to people, then lose interest until a dog comes back on the screen. That said, I suffer from mild insomnia, so I often watch TV until I get tired. Bedtime is Blue's favorite time of the day because he gets to cuddle with us while I watch TV. If I turn the TV off too quickly, he gets quite miffed at having his cuddle time cut short, and will start whining until I either yell at him or turn it back on. He rarely watches the TV during this time, but he likes for it to be on. Maybe the dulcet tones of Emeril Legasse lull him to sleep...

Ben too! Also, gets a bit concerned if a baby cries on the TV. He will run to the screen and nudge it a few times!

Ha! I've never heard Emeril's tone be described as dulcet! :D
