Somebody Broke Into my House and Cleaned It!!!

:D :D :D

Okay so that's what I thought yesterday when I returned home from work and found myself locked out. I had grabbed my spare set of car keys in my rush in the morning...groan the ones that don't have my house keys attached. Knock Knock....urg son not home. Sigh have to get extended ladder and set it up against the house....double sighs...have heels and a dress on. Had to try all the windows on the top floor (second story) in hopes one would be left open.

Drat! none were. Hmmm wonder if that tiny window leading to the ensuite is unlocked? Yippiiiiiii.....thank goodness I could get my frame into that tiny opening. Body first ..legs sticking out..whew made it. Dogs are barking like crazy..sure the neighbors are glancing out and see my legs sticking out of the window. They probably just sat back down as any decent burgler wouldn't be wearing a dress and heals to do their dirty deeds...they must realize it's just me.

Walk into the kitchen...it's gleaming!!!!!!!!!!! Egads ..did someone break into my home and clean my kitchen!!!!!!!!! Is this even my house? How did this happen? I had nagged my son to at least empty dishwasher on his days off to no avail. Could it be possible that something "clicked" and he cleaned?

He walks in two hours later....new piercing in his eyebrow with his first paycheck... :? "How do you like it mom...isn't it great! Notice what Andy (his best friend) and I did when you were at work? Then we went to the mall." (I think it was the mall visit first and the kitchen cleanup as second thought.)

I'm thinking I now know the reason for the kitchen cleanup...no more explaination needed. I'm still breathing into a paper bag.

Send him to my house, my kitchen needs a good cleaning!!!!!!!
LOL Marianne.... Smart kid! LOL
hey, if piercing his body means a clean house...! 8O
Don't worry Marianne... holes close, but good deeds remain forever, even if a clean house doesn't!!!
BREATH MOM BREATH! :D I'd probably bribe my kids with piercings etc. if it meant, they would clean the house! HE HE HE
Well look at it this way, piercing can be removed and will heal over. I'll never forget the first sight of my daughters TATOO........... I went into the bathroom, VOMITED and cried for an hour. And she didn't even clean the kitchen for me 8O
actually, the hole will be there for a long time, if not forever. I took out my belly button ring about 4 years ago and it is still there...
Maybe he will get sick of it.....but its nice to walk into a clean kitchen...and it sounds like he did a good job, so he is learning something from you....nice mental view of you sticking out of your upstairs window by the way.....I think your name should have been Lucy :D
I guess it depends on how long it's in for, my daughter had an eybrow pierced and a belly button. She took them out after about a year and they did close. There may be a "point of no return" :(

Sorry but that image in my mind of you hanging out the window with heels and a skirt on is hilarious.

LOL Smart Kid! Done the piercing, will clean the kitchen and hopefully mum might not notice LOL
Hey, at least you have a clean kitchen 8)
I am sure your son won't have it forever. But you will have the memories of the clean kitchen and hanging out of the window forever....lol
Pierce vs tatoo, no contest. A hole is a hole, but a tatoo or the scar that comes from removing is far more noticeable.

Saw a fellow the other day who had his ears pierced and then expanded the hole to a full inch with various rods....yeah, just like the African and Amazon tribes. Now that was gross. Won't he be pretty at 80 with lobes to his shoulders as his ears naturally lengthen?
 Send him to Norway and my house, it's needs a good cleaning!
Hi Marianne,

I'll leave the key in case he feels like cleaning any more kitchens. :D
Umm....do I REALLY want to have a child??????
Can he come clean mine??? :) Sorry he surprised you with a piercing, but at least he was nice enough to do something to lessen the surprise of that. :)
