Recipes for Frozen Treats?

I saw the recipe SheepieBoss posted for the dogs who need to gain weight, and I wondered whether anyone could give a suggestion frozen treats for dogs that don't need to gain weight.

I like to take the empty shells from marrow bones and re-stuff them with something I can freeze to give the dogs renewed interest in the bones and to give them a long-lasting treat that keeps them busy. (I'm very careful to check that the bone is not too worn down or likely to shatter or splinter). To do this, I've been making a mush made of dry dog food, water, yogurt and sometimes pieces of canned or fresh veggies. The dogs love them and I am happy to prolong the life of the bones.

The recipe below seems like it adds interesting nutritional components -- but I am not looking to have them gain weight. Can anyone recommend a modification that would make the treat ok for healthy weight dogs? Does any one else make frozen treats for their dogs and have a recipe to share?

I'd welcome your input. :D

That said:

Take 10 lbs ground meat or oily fish
1 box of the highest nutrition dry cereal you can find. Here it would be Total
1 jar of wheat germ
10 eggs
10 ounces vegetable oil
10 small packages unflavored gelatin
10 ounces unflavored molasses

Mix all this goop together. Portion into meat ball sizes and freeze in small groups, defrosting as necessary. Serve alone or with kibble.

I believe Leanne had posted a while back about ....
Yogurt and Pumpkin treats. You take:
Equal parts plain yogurt and 100% pumpkin canned (not the pumpkin pie mix) Mix together until well blended.
Spoon cookie size treats onto the pan, then into the freezer.
They freeze in about an hour.
Take them off the pan and into a freezer bag.
My dogs love them!
Hmmm, I guess everything with raw flour is out since it will be eaten raw.........OK

pupsicle: ripe banana, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/4 cup wheat germ, 1/4 cup chopped unsalted peanuts

another time you could mix Velvetta with something......maybe reconstituted bulgur wheat....it would add texture.

Then again you could just melt lard or other meat fat and pour the hot fat into the bones, let it cool and serve.
Is meat fat good for dogs? I'm looking for nutritious but that sounds decadent. :P
Is it much different than the marrow? Everything else I can think of right now would involve baking which would render the bone brittle. Maybe soaking the bone in something good.......a Bar-B-Que sauce? A simple one could be made from tomato puree, minced garlic, liquid smoke and ....honey?

That sounds yummy -- I'll try it stuffed in a bone. . .
