| I thought 8month at 42lbs wasn't that large, are they expecting a growth spurt? I think the fact that he takes off when the door is open is completly trainable, the previous owners obviously didn't train the pooch very well.

| Ditto for the door issue... my oes always lurched at the door... it took some time, but he sits very nicely and waits to be invited. BUT every once in awhile, he nudges the door (which of course doesn't latch properly) and off he goes! Now who needs the training here? *(Hubby fix the latch!!) |
