He urinated in front of us?!

My husband and Hendrix were playing a dumb game, in which my husband jumps up and then the dog would jump up. The game went on for about 2 minutes. My husband then left the room to put laundry away and Hendrix followed him. Then boom, he urinated right on the laundry pile that he went to pick up! He's been house broken for 9 months now and we have had no problems like this. He did it in front of him too! He's trained to use the bell to go out, so it's not as if he was trying to communicate that he wanted to go out.

Any ideas? My boss thinks perhaps Hendrix was upset the fun and games had ended.

hmmm...maybe he got too excited from the game and that the jumping activated his need to urinate? I know that when Barney plays some active games in the house he needs to be let out when we're done. My husband thinks I let him out too often, and so he won't take him out after a game like that, but that is usually when Barney would have accidents. So, I don't know if that might be something similar to Hendrix...
I would guess he did it because he was so excited. Beau used to do that and he was a guy who would rather blow up than urinate in the house.
Not sure what the cause is but, Jake our old GS peed on our bed! 8O It was right after we had adopted Kiara, my Hubby and I though he was just Pi**ed (No pun intended) that we had anew family member......he never did it again......................

Ben peed on my brand new bamboo rug, I had literally just laid it down was sitting on the sofa looking at it and Ben politely walked over looked at me and peed! This was a few months ago.

If he wasn't so increadibly cute, I probably would have killed him! (No, I wouldn't, but I was mad enough to!) He has been potty trained for 6 mo. now and hasn't done it before that time or since then.......

Who knows what gets into them
Sounds like plain old excitement. If we try to hold Clyde while I run the vacuum, if he doesn't immediately go outside, he'll pee because he's so worked up!
I'm glad no one thinks it's health related. I'll keep an eye on him for the next week or so...
