Re: [OES-L] RESCUE: Dog in Georgetown SC needs to be picked up!!

Hi,
If you can pick up and or foster this dog, please let me know. We need to get her as soon as possible.

2 yr old female, no papers, full blooded. spayed, on HW and fle.a preventative, shots are due now. healthy but needs behavior modification, and has decided she doesn't want to be house broken.

The kids are small and wife isn't happy.. has nipped at the 2 year old...

if you can help,
please email me..
thanks Sandi

I've already e mailed sandi about this dog.

I'm only 30 min away from georgetown and will pick her up if needed.

Just waiting to hear something
Lisa-

Have you heard anything yet?
I'm happy to tell everyone, I completed my first rescue!!

I went and picked up the beautiful girl yesterday.

She is a 2 yr old spayed female, and she is so sweet.

The owner said she had way to much energy, but what sheepie doesn't?

I will foster her until other arrangements can be made.

I just glad I could help out!!
Yeah Lisa!!
Way to go Lisa!
Great job Lisa :clappurple:
Thank you so much to Lisa for picking up and fostering Belle (that's the SC dog's name)

We, in this case OESRNSE, have many applications for healthy young sheepies. If you are interested in Belle ( a healthy young OES) or any of the other dogs listed on the OESRNSE website please fill out an on-line application ASAP.

I am a member of and like to volunteer to help many of the OES rescue groups including NEOESR, OESRNSE, the OES Club of Central Florida , FINO, and look forward working with the newly-formed Tarheel group in NC. These groups all work together to help get OES into the best home.

Just wanted to update everyone on this happy story.

Belle was adopted, and met her new mom Suzanne last night. She is a very nice lady and I'm so happy the rescue took the time to find her a great home. She is such a good dog, and I'm going to miss her very much!!!!! Yes, I cried when she left, but they were both happy and sad tears.

I hope her new mom will join oes.org and let you know how things are going.

If anyone has ever thought of fostering a dog or even adopting from a rescue, give it a try. It was a really nice experience.
Yay for Suzanne!

(Boo for Jillie  )
Thanks for fostering, Lisa!! It is a both a wonderfully rewarding and difficult thing to do. So glad to know Belle has found a good home.
Just heard from Belle's new mom, she said they had a great trip home. I think it was 10 or 11 hours they went.

I told her she wouldn't have any problems, Belle loves to ride.

She is meeting the new family, which include 7 or 8 cats.

Boy I sure miss her!!
Awesome! That's so good to hear!
