Calling All Computer Geeks
I make no excuse for being so lame on the computer. I was feeling quite good that I surf the net like a pro, can finally post my own photos but..... I don't know how to get email photos posted here on OESphotos , nor how to get them from my email to "my pictures" in my computer. If I figure out how to do that I can post the photo myself. Any helpful advice would be most appreciated! I feel silly as it's probably very easy. For the person successfully able to help me I will give you my first born.

| If you are in Outlook or Outlook Express, if they are attachments, right click on them and click on "save as..."
If the are embedded in the message (you can see the picture inside the email) you can right click on them ans save them too, but it will eb in a format (.bmp) that the photogallery doesn't support. Ask the send to resend them as attachments. If you are using Internet Explorer and reading your email online like through Yahoo, you can probably right click on the picture and "save as", or right-click the link to the picture and "save target as". | Wheeeee after 3,257 tries and forgetting what moves finally made it work...I did it!!
Marianne > no longer El Lamo I asked the principal at my school to scan the paper for me and while he got the article about "Miss Parfait" I now see he erred when including the front page..think it's the back of it. I'll keep working on it! |
| Can you call the paper and see if they have any copies left?
Can you call the local stores and see if they do? They may keep copies out back of unsold issues until someone comes to collect them. |
