Well I gave Pepsi a bath because he's been rather dirty lately from running in the sand. He was so good in the bath this time.....except he leans against the side of the bathtub making his one side very hard to get to. But I got him good.... Blueing Shampoo on his head and other white parts and Collidial Oatmeal on the rest. He sat there a good ten minutes with the shampoo on. Cool I told hubby not to let the dogs out. Then I go and open the door and he pushes me out of the way. In two seconds he had run through the grass on the one side of the yard while the sprinklers were on. Then to the other side and flying threw the sand Rolling Eyes
At least the white on his head in still clean..... Rolling Eyes
that is so funy Elissa, mine do that too. But my OES always hang their heads over the edge of the tub, Crying or Very sad oh my acking back!!! Confused but we get it done. can I ask you abouthe the whitening shampoo??? what is it????
Blueing Shampoo is for white hair. It basically cleans and brightens whites, helps clean beard stains and yellowing. The color of the shampoo is blue. I use Gold Metal Pets Blue Diamond. Works wonders Very Happy
Elissa is that a west coast shampoo or is it here east coast but thanks for the info
I buy it at Petsmart. There a quite a few different brand out there.
This one does seem to work very well, so I have stuck with the brand.
I buy blueing shampoo for people, at the pharmacy, to use on the dogs. Just about any brand will work, the darker the blue, the whiter the whites Smile
thanks you guys I will get it !!!!
Typical Sheepie! Rolling Eyes
Ah hah!!! shampoo tips!!!! Off to get Puppy blueing shampoo!!!! thanks for the tip Elissa Smile where do you get the collodial oatmeal stuff, is that from petsmart too???
Question for Karen Question ...How much stuff have you bought so far???? It will be interesting to see when you get pregnant....You'll have your kids college already picked out and paid for by the time he/she is 3...lol...You just crack me up...I love your enthusiasm!!! Itemize your list for us to see what else you might need! Very Happy Question

I am sure Petsmart has it. Mine is a concentrated shampoo that my Niece gave me. Pepsi stopped chewing on his fur Go Dance So I guess it really helps with dry itchy skin.
jack sleeps in the tub......i have to put a bowl upside down in the tub under his head so he doesn't sink....
Karen - I was wondering the same thing as Darcy!

You're so cute!! Puppy joy just ooozes out of your posts!! hearts

Elissa - You'd think for all the trouble you go through to clean them up, they'd stay that way for a least a day!! Rolling Eyes

Thats it!!! Perfect description!!!!!
hearts I love when they do that, especially when you have don them for a show!!!!!!!! hearts
Laughing you guys!!! I guess that's what happens when you wait 3 years to get your fuzzy friend! Plus I love to plan so... dangerous combination Smile I've been a VERY good girl, and have only bought:

Metal food and water bowls, they should work in whatever elevated holder I get when Puppy gets bigger

The lamb stuffie which baws when you squek it

a puppy kong

a Hartz HboneO which I guess is a teething bone that you can put water in, and when they chew it, it oozes the water.

That's it! Of course, once I make the trip down to Fleet Farm, all the grooming tools will be bought, and I STILL can't find a collar I like! I'm so picky, that I have the opposite problem- not buying things cause I want it to be perfect Laughing My sister yells at me everytime I try to buy a squeaker toy, cause she's worried Puppy will swallow the squeaker and choke...

As for babies... Yeah, you're probably right! I already have a nursery theme and some baby toys picked out, along w/ baby names, and we're not seriously trying to get pregnant yet!!! Laughing
and I hope to include you in the very few friend group that will actually find out what they are having BEFORE the birth Very Happy
No actually... I want a little "surprise" after all that hard work... although I really, really want a little girl first- I'm a first born daughter of a first born daughter of a first born daughter of a first born daughter... Which may explain a few things... Laughing
Bummer Sad
Aww Darce! It's not that bad!!!! Really, I 've lived with the stigma of being first born all my life! Laughing

Oh lordie, I crack me up!

Actually, I've noticed most couples I've talked to that are having little ones find out the sex before birth now... rather then the opposite. Maybe that's a midwest thing? All of Mike's family that had children knew beforehand what they were... Mike actually DOES want to know, but I'm gonna stay firm... I like surprises Smile
I haven't known a single person in years who hasn't found out beforehand. I think having it be a surprise would be fun, too! Very Happy
I've known 4 people in the past year who were/are pregnant. 3 found out before hand what they were having and one has not (they are due in a few weeks, so we'll find out soon--although they are using the same name for either a boy or girl, so that's convenient).

My parents didn't find out about any of us kids until we were born, although my mom says she guessed right each time. I am leaning towards finding out because it'd be nice to plan and color coordinate and that sort of thing.
Amen Sister Steph...Id find out too...dont llike 9 months of surprise...a few days at the most, but 9 months???? I would have to shop...shoes, clothes, layette...etc...not that it is ever going to happen..lol
Eh... My nursery is going to be a baby garden/beatrix potter theme, which works for either sex so I can shop for accessories to my hearts content no matter what we'd have... Most new born garments work for either boys or girls, and all are SO cute, it doesn't really matter what you put them in. By the time they can wear little dresses or ties etc. you'll know what you've got!

I've done pretty well not knowing the sex of my puppy... And that's been a 3 year wait! Laughing
lol. kar you have a point!
