After a discussion about this topic in the chat room I thought it warranted a poll.

LOL Cute idea for a poll Deb.... gross... but cute.

My two dogs like to eat each others eye boogers. LOL
You look at them and think awwww isn't that cute, they're kissing! And then.... eeewwwww.... nope that's not what they're doing! LOL

That's what I think too when Frank starts licking Rebecca but usually he's more interested in her backside.
nope I pick them out every morning and wipe them on a tissue..that gets thrown away....You mean to tell me that they eat those black crusty things???? That IS nasty!
You need to add a "No way, he's not interested" category!
She would if I let her. I used to yell at my Mom for feeding them to her dogs so I'd be a hypocrite. I pick them 2-3 times a day, put them on Kleenex or toilet paper and throw them out.
Yes I give my dog her boogies (gross I know)

I tell her "recycle".......and she eats them up.

She likes to help out in any way she can!!
eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww 8O no way i throw them away. :D

My Dad always had the dogs recycle....eww
I thought it was so gross.

LMAO Ewwww
I agree - nasty. I throw them away. But here's a question - have you ever noticed eye boogers more in one eye than the other? Bailey is dark on the right side of his head and white on the left side. He always has boogers in his left eye and nearly never has them in his right eye. Weird, huh?

Yeah, I've noticed Louie gets more on the right side then the left. And, he can manage to clean his left eye himself. It's quite funny to watch. He uses the edge of the bed  . Usually, I'll just do it though.
I am sure Ben would eat them if he had the chance.... ...he doesn't get boogies much but, when he does..."Mom" takes care of it!

Why would you let them eat it????? 8O GROoooooooooSSsssss!!!!

Maybe that's why Annie rubs up against one of the couches when we're not home! I never thought of that before. I can tell because it's a burgundy fabric couch and there always seems to be white hairs and whitish hard spots on the arm covers  I'm always picking her eye boogers so she must not do a very good job.
I'm sure Rosco would consider them a gourmet treat 8O
