D-Matting Spray - does it work?

Has anyone ever used D-Matting Spray? Does it work? I see it online and was thinking of ordering. Here's the description, "Pro Series Ultra-D D-Matting Spray - (Kenic) Cuts brushing time in half. Removes tangles, mats, loose hair & undercoat. Prevents broken hair & split ends. Restores dull coats; leaving a fresh-scented sheen. For dogs & cats of all breeds."

Let me know!

THANKS!

It's probably just a spray conditioner, which works by you soaking the mat, letting it sit for a few minutes and then using your fingers to break it up. I've been using that Statko's grooming spray for everyday brushing (someone recommended it and it's cheap at JB pet). One warning though, I love it because it prevents static and smells nice but not overpowering, but it softens the coat a lot. I don't show so I like it super soft but it may not be for everyone.
After using a couple of those anti-tangling brands I've come to the conclusion that using doggie conditioner diluted in a spray bottle works best for me. Plus it's much cheaper. I usually dilute it 12 parts water to 1 part conditioner. I spray Frank's coat with it while I do our regular brushing to keep the hair a little moist too so the hair doesn't break.
I think they're all pretty much the same... I don't find any of them help much, the main thing is breaking up the mat before trying to comb it out.

on that note, when jack matts up really bad, i cut the matts in the direction of the hair, then comb it out with a razor comb, never put much stock into sprays as i've found pretty much anything wet turns jack into a matting machine

yeah true but if you brush it before spraying - that helps reduce mats.
any diluted conditioner or the d-matting stuff the groomer uses has always helped at least a little bit for me, and a little is better than nothing!
Contrary to most of the comments here, D-Mat is not a spray-on conditioner to use while combing. It appears to be some sort of dematting conditioner that you can only use when bathing your dog. The instructions tell you to shampoo the dog, rinse, saturate them with the spray and then rinse thoroughly again. It seems odd that such a product would be in a spray bottle, but that's definitely what the instructions say to do.

I haven't used the product myself. I only know this little bit because I did buy some accidentally.
some dematting sprays are similar to conditioner. some are silicon based, the liquid wraps around the hair coating it and the matts fall apart easier instead of gripping the hair when you pull.
i use show seasons detangle spray, does the job and smells nice too

you can use it on wet and dry hair.
i also use double k dematting conditioner, diluted in a spray for when i brush billy. and when his in the bath i rub it into any matts and comb them out when his in the bath.
