GO TO BED MOM

last night Daisy and I went to bed early. As often happens when we do, she woke me up about 11:30 to go outside. After bringing her back in, I couldn't go back to sleep and finally got up, took a shower then sat down to the computer. Daisy went back out again, played with her toys for a while then about 3:00 am she came into the computer room, looked at me and gave me a "grrrrrr". I looked over to see what she wanted (she never growls at me) and she just stood there with a determined look as if to say "OK, that's enough - lets go back to bed now". After a few more minutes, I got up and walked into the bedroom and she followed me all the way in, then went around the bed and into her spot under the headboard.
Of course, she still had to get up at her normal time this morning, but after a trip outside she usually sleeps all morning anyway so I got to sleep in.

Hee hee...so cute. They are creatures of habit. If we are up later than usual, Annie will herd us both until we finally go into the same room to sleep.
Bunkie does that, when she thinks its time for bed, she half sit and stands (butt in the land and front paws on the stair) and cries until I turn the TV off and head up stairs. It's like she is saying okay Mommy, its your bedtime.
I get told when it is bed time too. Mmmm must be a strong sheepie trait.
Either that or our pups are lazy.
Blue does the same thing. When he decides it's bedtime, he gets his stuffed lamb and starts whining. If we stand up, he runs into the bedroom and jumps in bed to wait for us, but if we take too long (or weren't really going to bed), he'll come looking for us with a very grumpy attitude.
Ha! That was so funny and what a smart girl Daisy is! Compassionate too! As she was just looking out for her mommy. That's such a sweet story.

Marianne and the boys
Always looking after their masters, these guys... It's soo cute.

Lennon and Sofa do the same if Danita and I stay late at night on the weekends painting and working on the computer, they keep on coming over and over until they can't take it anymore and fall asleep at our feet.
Previous sheepies herded us to bed, but now I must stay up too often. Instead of herding me, they join me in the computer room.......usually five of the six so when I do decide to go to bed, the path to the door is well carpeted with hairy critters.
