Groomed today

Well...I'm worried! Steve didn't call me after he picked up Annie from the groomer today so I called him. He gave her the pictures of Val's Maggie so she could see the ears. Steve's comment that I'd just need to see them for myself when I get home from work isn't a good sign. He said that we might need to trim her whiskers in order to "even things out". OH NO! What if she looks horrible???!!! I know it will grow back, but.....I'll keep you posted.

Try your best to concentrate on work until you can leave! 8O Can't wait to hear what you think. Maybe Steve's just teasing you and Anne is perfectly coiffed! Think happy thoughts!
Chris
Oh goodness! Hope it's okay! Chris is right, though, try to think happy thoughts. Is Steve a practical joker?
hee hee hee--I bet she has a mohawk!
Maybe they made her ears pointy????
Well...not quite the mohawk and Steve wasn't kidding :( Annie's ears are so small!!! She kind of looks like a cow with those tiny ears sticking out . Can I cut some hair from her butt and glue it back on??? I just trimmed her beard shorter so that it would blend or match her ears or lack thereof. Okay, never again will I request short ears. Obviously my groomer likes Annie to looks poofy and the short ears don't go with the whole package. On well, I tried. I'll take a picture tonight or tomorrow.
I'm sorry! It is my fault! Do you think she thought you meant you wanted them as short as Maggie's when really the picture was just to show the angle?? They should have been kept proportional length-wise. . . Pictures are a must.
No, it's absolutely not your fault, Val! This is what happens when you tell your husband something and he doesn't pay attention!!! I specifically told him to show the groomer the picture for the shape but not to cut them so short. Well, by the time I called the groomer at 11AM, she said she had already cut her ears. They'll grow in time. So, don't be feeling guilty because it's NOT YOUR FAULT!!! I'm grateful to you for taking the time to take the pictures of Maggie and to post them. At least now, my groomer understands that I want them shaped differently. They'll probably look great in a few weeks! :D :D :D
Aww Stac, I bet she looks cute, youre just not used to it....it grows..too quickly...once the shape is established, it may be easier to keep..Lets see what she looks like!!
Alright...here are the pictures of Annie soon after her dramatic ear hair cut. She's looking much better now as I majorly cut her beard and things are evening out. I do think I cut her beard a little bit before I took these picture. It was so long! The shape of her ears are fine, it was just such a shock to seem them so short! She looks like a "cute cow" now. I love her no matter what! :D

Stacy..she looks great! Her ears are cute!!!! Its kinda freaky that she and Panda look so similar..Ill try to post some pics tommorrow.
hahahah Annie does NOT look happy in the first two of those shots! lol

The grooming is nice though! :D
No, she was not happy and didn't want her picture taken. She looks so pissed with her eyes squinty.
ha hahahaha!
Poor Annie! She looks so mad! I think she looks so silky and cute, though.
Another thing that'll help is to not layer the ear as much, over the whole "flap". If she'd have kept them long you might not have noticed as much. It might have been hard to get the bottom shape without losing some length too, since she's been square so long.
You did good by trimming the beard to balance the ears. Good Call!!!

And boy does she look cranky in those first two.
She looks cute regardles.... lol....
She still is a cutie just looks so different and just takes a bit of time to get use too, but it will grow back real quick

lisaoes.
A beautiful dog is a beautiful dog, no matter what!! Annie looks great! Drez's ears have been that short lots of times, but then her whole body was a lot shorter too than Annie is, so it kind of all blended in. I didn't realize she had 2 gorgeous blue eyes, too - and I LOVE blue eyes!
Chris
Now I know what you were talking about regarding Annie's ears! Poor Annie! They'll be back in no time.

I actually wanted to trim Rebecca down last night since I can only deal with 1 full coat. I would just shave her but I think it's a little too cold. So I hacked her with scissors and did a horrible job so don't feel bad.

p.s. I uploaded pix of Rebecca with the mohawk we gave her last summer. She didn't like it either.
The mohawk is funny, but she does not look pleased. :)
I almost spit my coffee out...Annie's expression is priceless in the photos!

You tell her we all think she looks beautiful!!! :D
YEA! Annie's hair is growing back and I LOVE IT! You should see her when she shakes and it all fluffs out. She looks like a big stuffed animal especially with her Valentine's bows and bandana. This picture doesn't do her justice, but she's adorable nonetheless.

She does look happier now! And the good thing about hair....it grows back :)
Stac...its freaky how alike panda and annies eyes are...she is just beautiful...cant wait for you to meet panda in march :D
Annie looks SO cute!!! She looks like she feels cute too . . .
Stacy your girl looks lovely and don't forget that oes' are supposed to have smallish ears. I'm sure she doesn't care how she looks as long as she is loved and I can see that she is.
