pees when greeted

Abby is 4 1/2 months old now. :D She is a wounderful pup. House trained, lerning manners, ect. We are very active people and were ever we go she goes to. She just loves people and can't wait to be greeted. But she started this new thing. She gets so excited when greeted that she pees on the floor. What can I do to stop this? I have just been ignoring it but with all the places she goes I can"t have this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If this is a new thing, maybe have her checked for a bladder or urinary tract infection?
If that is ruled out, then I would suggest toning down greetings. No exhuberant high voice pitch greetings when you come home or get up in the morning etc... a lot of people suggest ignoring the dog completely for a few minutes until the dog is completely calm and no longer sees any of it as a big deal.
Sounds like she is doing great otherwise! How did you manage to have a 4 1/2 month old pup housetrained already?! Please, share your secret! :)
Panda did that for a while too... the best thing that worked for Panda was to make her sit outside the front door area...more in the dining room or somewhere further away..have the people come into the house..greet as normal...and have them walk to the dog...pat on top of the head, no over excitment...and move on into the house....should stop the excitement pee. We used the can with rock meathod...to make her stay.....every time she moved toward the front door shook the can at her and made her sit and stay...after the first time, dont use words, use just your actions..it became clear to panda after 3x's......the peeing stopped :D
Ever since my son came one time (she just loves him) and got her so excited and made a real fuss over seeing her she has started this. Now when we are some where and they start to talk to her or pet her she pees. For the housetraining and stuff: Both of my children left home in the same year. My daughter was very active in track and FFA.We were always on the go. I also take care of someones sheep. Abby has my undivided attention. I have no distractions and she goes with me every where I go.(except work) We have different work shifts so she is only alone 1 1/2 hrs in the morning and 1 1/2 hrs at night. If we are running around all day, when we get home she can let loose, she has a regular race course around the apartment. We also have a 13 yr old dalmatian. His health is starting to fail and I expect this will be his last year. He prefers to stay home and sleep.
