The Petapotty(trying not to laugh)

Strange New Dog Products - the Petapotty
Posted by bigpawsonly @ 10:03 am Made for dogs up to 110 lbs. this petapotty is for indoor or outdoor use where space is limited. Almost 3 feet wide and two feet long, dogs can climb up on to this mobile grass potty unit and get their business done without ever stepping out into the cold. Urine flows thru the sodless grass to the trap pan below. However, I’m not exactly sure what to think about this - I can just imagine some fresh poop steaming there in the middle of the living room, but because it happens to be on grass, we’re supposed to be ok with it.

The Original PETaPOTTY is our top of the line product made of attractive, sturdy, non-absobant, polyvinyl material. Its outer dimensions are 34″ by 34″ (approximate dimensions +/- 3/4″), just short of 3′ by 3′. This unit features a concealed trap pan that allows for the collection of water and your pet’s urine. The trap pan is easily accesible, which allows for no hassle cleaning. This product is great for small dogs who like to sniff around before they “mark their territory,” or larger dogs who just need to do their business. The Original PETaPOTTY is perfect for any size dog (110lbs or less) you may have.

Price for a couple square feet of indoor grass? The original is $279! Still unsure how to feel about this but it just may be a godsend for some folks.

Oh, brother!! What will they think of next? We can only hope that it doesn't sell well!!
Chris
It needs to be longer to accomodate the sheepie trail.
:?
No kidding, Jil! I have to walk 10-12 feet to scoop up after Gen.

Dudley, a delightful foster boy I had recently, did his business in a circle. Funniest thing I ever saw. His front feet were firmly planted and he walked his rear legs around in a circle while pooping. I'm pretty sure this device won't be effective for them.
8O
(speechless)
8O I have to check out a picture of this thing! It won't work for those that are in mid-poop and run off to chase something!
You said it Stacy...wouldnt work here either...lol....
Well, I did have to look at these...........no way a sheepdog can poop on a 3 foot square piece of artifical turf, LOL On the bright side, I'm sure everyone of my dogs could pee on this green spot as they have to pee over each others mark anyway.
Oh dear think I've read it all now  I think my girls will just stick to what's left of the grass outside!!. Are these things used for when there is snow or say when you live in an apartment? Never seen or heard of anything like that here
I'd worry more about a lazy husband or boyfriend thinking it's cool to use too...
And what about those little boys who lift their leg?
I don't think there is a tree planted in the middle!

Sorry, a bit off topic, but...I wouldn't put it past some of them. I once had a boyfriend who finally confessed to peeing down the pipe in our basement that was for the washing machine drainage. He supposedly didn't want to wake us up in the middle of the night to come upstairs to use the bathroom. DISGUSTING! I think he's now a doctor somewhere in St Louis.
 I'm still picturing the steamy pile in the living room.lol...It amazes me the products out there for pets....although I have to admit that I caved in and bought the fresh flow water purifier dish, so now my cat drinks fresher water than I do. I have always joked that if I had a pom or mini dog I would litter train it.
First of all, I can't imagine trying to train a dog to use that thing.... LOL Especially an OES. Also, if you DID manage to train the dog to use it, YUCK. LOL
Too funny....
