Please look at this cute doll. Not sure if he's purebred OES, but he sure looks like he might be. Sounds like he's had a had life.

I just inquired about this dog. He is not very far from here.

Wow. Looking at that picture he looks SO MUCH like Barney did when I first got him. So much that I wonder if they were related...although Barney doesn't look anything like him anymore, now that he's older and filled out...

From the way Harley is, It looks like we will be putting him down at the end of the week.
I am hoping that this dog will help ease the pain a bit.
Also there were a couple of things that made this seem really right.
The dog's name is Sheppie like Shepherd.
The dog is in the shelter as a result of a family break up.
That is how we ended up with our first OES Daisy when I was a kid.
Also I am sure that Pepsi would really enjoy having another Sheepie around. Someone to wear him out. I am bringing Pepsi and the kids to meet Sheppie. I really hope it works out. Billy has no clue about what I plan on doing because I know he would say it's too soon. I do think this will help us all though. It would also honor the memory of Harley by rescuing another dog. |

I spoke with them Friday. They just had him neutered on Wednesday. He had an undescended testicle, The Vet recommended that they do a test to make sure there were no precancerous cells.
I appreciate them being so thorough with him. I am not sure if they said the tests would be back by Tuesday or that I could see him on Tuesday. I will call tomorrow to get the info.
If everything is ok we hope to have him home by the end of the week. |

| I haven't met him yet because he's 2 hrs away. They wanted to do the testing first and asked if I was still interested in him. I said of course I was. When we go to meet him if all goes well he will be coming home with us. |
