Saying Goodbye.
After close to 2,000 post and being a member here for a couple years, I felt the need to tell everyone my good-bye's. Thank you Ron for providing this really valuable forum which has been instrumental in saving and rescuing sheepies all over North America and some like my Panda boy all the way from Asia. | Oh my gosh, I was hoping the thread title was deceiving and NOT that you were leaving. We all would understand if there are things going on in your personal life, but I'm sure a lot of us would like to know if it was something that happened here or something we can help with.

| I am concerned too about her abrupt withdrawal, however, we need to respect her wish for privacy for whatever reason she chose to leave this forum. I wouldn't go about bombarding her with pm's or anything. JMO |

| After I thought about it and read your posts, I suppose I also agree. It's just our curious and worrisome natures to want more details. Marianne said goodbye, so we should respect that. I would be even more concerned if she just dropped away and didn't say anything to us.

| While I agree in theory with what you are saying I also believe that if someone is leaving because they have been hurt or feel slighted in some way that it is is important to at least try to find out what is wrong. Sometimes people are hurt by something, but don't want to have to SAY what it is that they are hurt by. They may hope that those around them will be able to figure it out. Part of them may also WANT those around them to reach out and make an effort to connect with them.
Marianne leaving may have nothing to do with any of us or anything that has happened here on the forum. Or it may have everything to do with us. As someone who cares about her I feel like I have to at least attempt to connect with her and let her know how I feel, in as unobtrusive a way as possible. I have dropped her a note to let her know that we all care about her, miss her and hope to hear from her soon. |

I also sent a note. I also apologized if I said anything that may have hurt or offended her in any way. (poem - Riveria) I know sometimes when something is soooooo painful, you either have to get as far away as you can for a little while or dig in deeper. I told her we all miss her and hope she returns soon. But, no response as of yet. |
