RESCUE: 11month OES/Poodle mix - SO CUTE!

Look at this sweet sweet baby in Minnesota. She's an OES/Standard Poodle mix. Looks like a few of our friends here on the forum. They await a diagnosis before proceeding with adoption options. Not sure what is wrong, but SO CUTE!!!

Interesting, since I had this combo, she doesn't look like any in my litter...she has quite long hair at such an early age. Tag maintained shaggy coat, not long wavy silky looking hair.

Too bad they didn't health check, now she has heart problems. Poor girl, she's cute tho.

Hi Stacy!

Paddington nka as 'Bear' is an OES/Standard mix. He is 15 weeks old now. Just a baby!

He was scheduled for euthanasia before entering rescue at MOESR. We were fortunate to have him dropped off to us the night before he was scheduled to be PTS.

We had several vet visits and tests done and Paddington was diagnosed with canine hip dysplasia and will require surgery.

We found the perfect family. So incredibly kind and just as special as this puppy! They also happen to have two vets in the family, so this little guy will receive the best of the best care. I don't believe we could have found a more perfect family for this little (big) boy. He was 20" at the withers and 28 lb. at 14 wks. The vets are guessing he will be about 80 lb. full grown, keeping him lean for his CHD. His forever family is completely smitten with him as were we!

Poodle rescue believes he got more of the poodle genes than the rest of the litter who was shipped to pet stores ... I wonder about the rest all the time ...

Poodle rescue is also hoping he gets the Standard Poodle brains. LoL! Meanies! ;)

Thank you for posting him. :)

I would love to see photos of your OES/Standard litter. I always thought it an uncommon mix, but am hearing others say they once had, saw, etc., this mix.

Paddington - the Bear is the cutest little guy! I don't believe his family cares what breed he is -- as long as he is theirs and they are his. Forever. :)

Paddington looks a lot like that dog Pooh who's upright often posts here.
Thank you for the update, Nancy! I'm so happy Paddington has such a great home. He's just adorable as your sheepies in your avatar
