| okay, i haven't checked the messages here for a week or so. I have had horrible insomnia and sleep really strange hours. Plus they haven't renewed my pain meds and PT has really become bad.
However they did renew my Ambian today YEAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa BUT WHERE is this baby? The old Doula/L&D nurse in me is coming out now. Let us know. Ali |
| It was just about this time last year with less than 4 weeks left until my due date we were having major flooding and the main road to the hospital was closed. I was totally freaked out. The road was finally reopened I think one week before I had Hayley.
Then we found out Hayley was breach. So at 38 1/2 weeks January 27th, the Dr tried to perform a version procedure (turning the baby) and was going to incude labor because I was 2 1/2 cent dilated. Instead due to Hayley's heartbeat dropping during the procedure I had a C-section and within 10 minutes my beautiful baby girl was in my arms. I am so excited for you. I know the waiting must be killing you at this point. With my son, I tried everything to induce labor. Walking briskly, Castor Oil (YUCK) Running up the stairs. Driving on a bumpy road. None of it worked. Hope you have a quick labor |
| well it's Thursday afternoon and baby is still in me. Probally a good thing as I came down with a miserable head cold last night and today woke up thinking I may be getting a sinus infection as well. Needless to say I don't feel to great and am kind of glad I am not dealing with a newborn as well. Have dr appt this afternoon, here's hoping they can give me something to feel better quick without harming my little girl. Especially since we have a full moon on Saturday, which could be the day! Otherwise I go back to dr for another check on Monday.
(15 days and counting to estimated due date!) |
