Puppy number two!

Tomorrow Morgan arrives from Michigan! He is joining Marley who came from CHicago in November. After spending the weekend with 5 dogs in the house - not three of which could stand to be in the same room togather you would think I would be nervous! I can't wait. ALthough we will now have 6 dogs while compnay is still with us - we will soon be down to our three plus my sons one who seems to be a permanent border. Since my husband's Irish Setter (Cedric of course) can't figure out how to play with the little crazy puppy, and the 12 year old American Eskimo is too old and cranky to try - this should actually help the situation. If Marley has a play mate she'll spend less time doing drive-bys on the two other dogs .
Of course maybe they will tag team them and we'll end up witha rmed camps :)
Can't wait until tomorrow!

Congrats! I can't wait to hear more about your new arrival :)
Twice the fun!! :D :D
Wow! Sounds like fun...and a little crazy too! :)
double the trouble but twice the fun
Congratulations! :D
It's amazing how another puppy will often help the situation. We brought two sisters into the family about 2 years ago and our vet had told us they would entertain each other and they did.

When our littlest sheepie, Kaytee, was about 9 1/2 months old we adopted Panda, a 10 1/2 month old rescue... this was in September. They are just better matched in energy levels so it works well. There are times when we need to seperate them though when they get too rambunctious.

You're in for lots of fun and it does give the older dogs a break from the constant pestering of a young puppy.
Wow we made it through the night! Of course my husband has the flu so that complicated things a little. Morgan and Marley played like crazy for about an hour - retired to seperate corners and slept for about an hour and a half until I dragged them off to bed in side by side crates. Morgan settled down fairly wuickly and except for potty breaks all slept through until 7:30 this morning.
He had his first vet's appointment and all is well. Of course it started raining today so keeping up with the pups will mean keeping up with a lot of muddy foot prints as well.
I'll have to keep in mind we aren't the only ones with 6 dogs in the house! Of course two go home on Saturday.
I gave my husband a nice digital camera for Christmas and once he is up and about I'll post pictures.
Oh, I can't wait to see the pictures!
Pics, pics! :) Congratulations!
