Murphy had his first Christmas with us and his little powder puff was 'a wigglin' constantly!!  I think he really enjoyed his presents even though he seemed confused that he was able to have one for his very own from under the tree...I would guess that in his past life he was either a)not allowed to ever even see a Christmas Tree or b)got in a lot of trouble if he ever went close to one!  We had to help him open his presents, as he really seemed to think he would get in trouble!  He spent the whole time at my feet watching me open my gifts with his favorite present, a stuffed snowmad, under his beautiful head.
I hope and wish that someday all dogs will experience what the true meaning of this season is...being warm and full of good food and being loved unconditionally from families that truly are deserving of these gorgeous creatures!
Gooch on the other hand...spent the morning trying to steal things to bring downstairs away from all of us! He may be a little spoiled but it is nice to know that he will never experience what Murphy has!
