Always the Helper

Last night I finally got around to putting the tree up. This year I did an all dog theme with some bulbs to break it up a bit (I'll take some pics and post later). Clyde sat and watched me intently for about an hour while I worked. Finally, when I was almost done, I went to get some soda from the kitchen. When I came back, Clyde decided to help and stuck one of his big rawhide bones in the tree. I turned to James and asked him "Did you do this?" He looked over and started laughing and said that he hadn't gotten up for over an hour. Turned out Clyde saw where the theme of the tree was going and thought he'd lend a paw-- and a bone!

That's hilarious....and very generous of Clyde. He was willing to donate a bone to the family tree. 8)

That's really funny! What a character!
Good boy Clyde! I can't wait to see pictures of your dog themed tree!
That's adorable!
Awww...see, it isn't just Space Invaders going on in his head! He was so thoughtful!
Either that, or the tree branch made a good shelf so that Clyde wouldn't have to bend down all the way to the floor to pick up his bone anymore! 8)

Lol. that's what I thought too. His toy box got moved so the tree could be put there so I'm assuming this was his way of putting his toy away. I didn't mention that earlier!
That's FUNNY!! What a sweet boy!! :D :D :D
See Ma? They DO grow on trees!
That is hilarious... what a smart boy!!! LOL

I had a golden retriever named Sam who did something similar. He saw my stepmother plating flowers in the garden, and later in the day she went outside to find he had planted a squirrel, tail sticking up like a flower, in between the flowers, all in a straight line too. LOL
Ha Ha Ha what a clever boy is Clyde. Mmmm maybe he just put it there as a backup just in case santa doesn't leave him anything. Has clyde been a good boy?
I always knew Clyde was smart...My question is ...what flavor faygo were you getting?????
Lol. Red pop.
Such a good boy.
Is the bone still there?
What a guy, Clyde 8) Always there to help!

No, I took it out. It was a big one and I was surprised that the tree held it!
Too Funny! Just goes to show their unique personalities!!
What a riot! :D And who says our sheepies are dumb?? Love the pics, too! Looks like Bentley and Clyde had a great time together!
