baby update

Nope mines not here yet...lol!

I did finally make it to the dr's this morning, and would have posted sooner, but it seems the past two days I am so tired I sleep all the time that I possibly can.

Anywho, from my ultrasound (u/s), Kaitlyn is estimated to be five lbs and she looks really good in general. We got to see one of her femurs, that was awesome weird if you know what I mean. On the down side a second fibroid was discovered today. I have one that is measuring about an inch in diameter and the new one is 7.9 cm. Fortunately they are off to the right side and the baby is on the left side. The other good thing is that the baby's head is lower then the fibroids, so my chances of a vaginal birth are a lot higher at this point (preferred birth).

My cervix is still long and due to the good news of positioning I am no longer on strict bedrest, I just need to continue to take it easy from here on out. If my baby girl is not here before 39 wks, they will do another u/s and see if she is in the same position as she was today or not. If she is, they will probally do a c-section at that time. All in all this is positive news for me at this time :)

Well it seems my little girl is trying to go south. She spent much of last night grinding her head against my pelvic bone (left side). Here's hoping she can get into position and quit grinding into my pelvic bone, that is probally the most bothersome thing ever, at least that I am having to experience. Hubby received camcorder in mail and happened to walk into the room while I was watching my belly move. Kaitlyn was having fun and being little miss active and he saw it from across the room and was like "we need to tape this!" Thankfully she calmed down before he could react but I am sure eventually he will catch her on film...lol! I forgot to mention monday, my dr's are throwing out Jan 14 for my delivery date...guess we will see!
I'm sorry you'er not feeling 100%.... I'm hoping for sooner than that! :D

(As long as it's safe)

Always glad to welcome another Capricorn into the world. 8)
