Too lucky!!

Hey everyone.

Well, have had Blue for three weeks now and I'm totally besotted. She's such a great girl. She's an outdoor dog- just like our terrier- and she's just so well trained. She never messes the garage (she has her own couch in there)- she goes in the garden (we have a really big lawn area so letting her go there is ideal as nobody will step in it and it's good for the roses!). She doesn't bark or whine at night. She doesn't chase my Mother's pet ducks (though she does like swimming in their pond). She never wanders. She doesn't chase cars. She doesn't jump or nip or growl. She'll eat her food straight away and will only eat what's in her own bowl.

In the car, she sits on the back seat and doesn't try to distract me when I'm driving. She can Sit! Stay! and almost Lie Down! She responds to her name. She's great when walking on her lead. If I bring her to the beach she stays with me even off of her lead. She's not aggressive. She gives kisses and bear hugs. She knows what No means. Most importantly, she's very good and gentle with my 6-year old niece who uses a wheelchair. Blue won't walk under the wheels (it's motorised) and she seem to be extra gentle- no bouncing.

She gets along with everyone. Doesn't cause problems. Everyone who has met her loves her. She's perfect. I'm soooo proud of her!

One question, though- do puppies go through a canine terrible twos?

that is the cutest picture ive ever seen, if you have more please post them... maybe ill show them to my parents and theyll let me get another puppy.

haha i remember when i first got walter and i was like "what the hell this dog is so good i cant believe how lucky i got" about 3 weeks later the fury was unleashed and the canine tornado we call walter (aka trouble) reaked havoc in the lands of the owen household from then on out. hes 10 months old now and i curse the day i wished for a more playful pup. seriously though, he started out really mellow but once he got more accostomed to everyone in the house he went nuts! haha

but it sounds like youve crossed the 3 week mark so hopefully your puppy (who is so cute in that picture i cant get over it) will stay this sweet.
Thanks! :D Yes- she is adorable. Will post more pics as soon as I have 'em. Was in Prague for the weekend and have half a roll of film left in the disposable camera I took with me so I'll dedicate those exposures to Blue.

It's amazing how much bigger she's gotten. The picture you see was only taken three weeks ago- she looks like a monster in comparison now. Even when I got back from my weekend away, I was amazed at how much she'd grown- I was only gone for four days!

How do you get (and keep) Walter so fluffy??
everyone's pups are so cute!

we've had our felix for 2 months now, and i don't know how we ever lived without a sheepie in the house - he's great!
Well, have just added some more pics....
