Thank you for helping us help

As you know, we have a section in the store where we donate the profits of the stuff that gets sold to dog shelters that care for homeless dogs until they can find a home.

Thanks to all of you who bought something from that section over the past few months! With the money from those sales, we were able to go to the store and fill a cart with food, toys and stuff. We made the donation yesterday to a local shelter called the Animal Rescue League of El Paso. There's me pushing the cart all the way from the entrance to the end of the parking lot... It was heavy!!!

The guys who received the donations were very happy, they told us that they have to make ends meet mostly on donations from people. It feels very nice knowing that with your help we can do something for all those dogs that deserve to get a second chance.

Thanks for helping us help the rescue effort!!!

COOL!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So awesome, Saul!
I ordered the Rescue mousepad a few months ago, and I use it everyday at work. It sure is nice to know where the proceeds went. :-) I'm sure they were thrilled with the donation!

Great work, Saul & Danita!! Thank you!!!
Saul and Danita, you are the ones to be thanked. Your hearts are extremely big.

By the way, why are you wearing a hat and coat? I thought it was always summer in Mexico.
LOL...Paula I keep telling everyone...even though some of us live in the southwest, it gets COLD...there is no humidity so the air actually feels colder than it is....60 degrees is no bargin.....its not snow thank God, but it is still cold...hence my space heater and wool socks.....

Hahahahaha! I wish it was always summer in Mexico!.... Well, it's always warm in the south. We live in the border with thexas in the middle of nowhere, right in the open desert, so temps are extreme. That day we were at 25F (I know... it's nothing for you on the north) but for us it's cold.... Like Darcy said, thank god we don't get too much snow.
Great job, Saul and Dani!! Thanks so much for your concern and help!

Chris - Love the new avatar of Drezzie in antlers! So cute!! :D
Good job Saul. I know the rescue group and they literally do live from day to day.

Geez, Darcy, I swim at Mom's apartment pool when it's 60, and sometimes lower. Of course getting out is murder.

Here in the high desert of the Southwest we've been in the single digits at night for many weeks now.

Thankful for the new furnace 2 weeks ago! Sorry, Ron, it's a gas burner, but oh sooooooo quiet and efficient. My floors are finally warm.
Well Susan, I think youre nuts....there is no way id get in and out of a pool this time of year unless it was a jacuzzi.....brr....
You guys rock! :) 8)
Yeah to the Santa helpers by the name of Saul and Danita!!!
