Leaping Kitten!
I know she's not a sheepie, but I had to share this antic... Yesterday morning I was on the phone with my brother and sitting in my living room eating a bowl of cereal. My cat Kirby LOVES cereal. And I don't just think it's the milk part of it, there is just something about it. Anyways, I'm sitting on the couch and she comes running over and starts to get into my lap to walk over me to get to my cereal. So I stand. She stands up and grabs at my cereal bowl (she's standing on the couch)...so I move over a few feet...she stands on the coffee table and grabs at me...So I move to the very center of the room and am holding my cereal bowl in one hand and the phone in the other and am facing the tv...all of a sudden WHACK! I feel this thing land on me...Kirby had jumped about 4 four feet from the coffee table onto me (my back/shoulders) and grabbed on using my neck and my bathrobe. I screamed I was so startled and my brother was like, what is going on! I was so shocked that she had been able to jump that far and she stuck the landing! And she wouldn't get off... So now I have 3 claw marks across my neck that are almost covered by a turtleneck!  |

| OMIGOD that is hilarious!! My cat loves cereal too and my otherwise gentle good kitty will fight me for the bowl. But he has never gone so far as to tackle me for it! I love the story. So funny. That's a beautiful kitty. . . |
| I just wish someone else had been there to see it...She has also taken to sleeping with me at night, curled up against my stomach, head on the pillow and body under the sheets! She dig at the covers to get me to lift them so she can come in... |
That's funny! She REALLY wanted some cereal!! I think next time I'd just fix her a bowl to herself!  |

At least the turtleneck covers most of it, at least its cold enough to wear one....and at least its not a hicky...you know newlyweds and everything.  ....Kirby needs to learn "table manners"...oh thats right, she did take her paws off the table...lol...

| Kirby says thank you but NO THANKS! She says she'll be upstairs hiding. Lenny, on the other hand, will be available for any and all mischief and puppy teasing that needs to be done. (And the occasional nose-swat) |
| Oh Dear, sorry but it is funny. Like the pic, I say keep her there with the remote for the TV and get her to watch TV instead of using you for a landing platform, amazing how far cats can leap She does look like she owns the rights for that TV remote |
| Cute kitty! She looks like one I used to have. My cat sleeps ON MY HEAD every night! I get about 1/4 of the pillow. Sometimes he sticks his nose right in my ear. What's really bad is when he starts snoring!!! |
It's always amazes me what our furkids will do! Very pretty and determined kitty you have there.  |
