Dakota is here!
Abby's pup Dakota is with us for the weekend. She just got here a few minutes ago and she was so excited it was hilarious! She almost jumped out of the arms of her new owner to get to me when she figured out where she was. Then she ran around like mad greeting everyone, wagging her tail so hard I thought she was going to take off. LOL I'll take some pics over the weekend and post them... she is cute, she is developing so much like a husky. She has her mom's bone structure and coat, only her dad's coloring. She is smaller than her brothers, by quite a bit. She seems healthy though, just a bundle of energy! LOL Yay! I got a baby back! (for a bit...lol) |

Yup I agree with Ginny, it must be like having grandkids coming to visit. Spoil her rotten, love her lots and then send her back to mom and dad after the visit.  Enjoy your weekend, Stacey!

| What a big girl!
After we gave our Boxer Petey away to our friend, he used to come and visit all the time. He would run in and tackle his Mom  Then immediately run to me and jump into my lap to cuddle. I loved seeing him but glad it was only a visit. I enjoyed the quiet when he left.

| Last night she was a spin cookie for about an hour or so, but she did settle down.
She is doing really well, and it is a lot of fun to have her here. Abby seems to be so happy to play with her today, but after a bit Abby goes in her crate and pulls the door shut herself! LOL (I know the feeling!) It's going to be weird to have dakota go again tomorrow afternoon, and then Abby could be going to her new home a few days later.... 
My kids are NOT happy about the possiblity of Abby leaving soon. Especially my daughter, it seemed to be quite a shock to her this morning when I told her. |

| Yes I met him, and he seems perfect, he was waiting for his wife to get home from visiting family so I expect I'll hear from him tonight or tomorrow. |
