Awww that's sad as although he wasn't the most attractive little guy..and had what's referred to "a face only a mother would love", his appearance gave him an endearing look.

Marianne and the boys
Holly, thanks so much for keeping tabs on Sam. If only he had known he had such a devoted fan...
I too was sorry to hear about Sam. Now Sam's playmate will no doubt end up with that title. She came in second last year to him. Oops, guess that means I know tooooo much about Sam.
Awe! Poor Sam.
Jill, Please, show some respect. I'm in mourning for my pal and you're upsetting me
Yes, Paul read me the story this a.m. Poor Sam, he was so ugly but no doubt quite loving.

Remember it's not what they look like (dogs, people) but what's in their heart.

I couldn't have been more serious. I would never make fun of something as serious as Sam, especially knowing how you felt about him.
Some nice rememberances about Sam, who was really a sweet dog. He was adopted about 6 years ago, and passed at the age of 15.

Not every dog can be a lovable sheepie.
I am so glad that Sam is in a better place now.
Maybe he even has his hair back...at least the ones he was supposed to have.

So sad that sam is gone, what an amazing little man. I did not know what this topic was about, but this morning in our newspapers in Melbourne there was an article on sam and a picture. It told of his life and claim to fame, what a special boy he was. He might of been voted the ugliest dog in the world but I bet he had the most precious gift of all, love and a wonderful nature and great beauty from within. RIP sam :(
RIP Sam, but sweet?? :?
Speaking of Hairless dogs....
If anyone is interested my sister's Best Friend wrote a children's book about her dog Kazoo. It's called "Why does everyone stare at me"
