I bought 2 toilet seats and a drill

And I know how to use them both. I replaced both the toilet seats in my condo and fortunately I mentioned this to my sister who told me how to get the old ones off. I was trying to unscrew from the bottom part . I didn't know the screw head was hidden under a little flap on the top. D'OH! And when I was at the hardware store getting the toilet seats I cruised through the "power tools" section and found a nice Skil drill on sale for $12.91 (cheaper than the toilet seats)! It will be just fine for my little projects. The joys of home ownership.

I love using power tools and fixing things myself.

I love power tools....lol... I'm the fix-it person around here too... most of the time I get a kick out of it, but sometimes I just wish hubby was more mechanically minded.LOL

I just love cruisin' hardware store! Forget the clothes and shoe stores, give me a power tool and I'm happy as a clam! I dream of a compound miter saw........a cordless drill driver.............wait, no, this is too painful.

just feel a little fear when it comes to stuff like that and then once we even attempt it ...we think..oh that was easy! I haven't tackled a new toilet seat yet so thanks for this post..as that may be next on my list.
