Eating disorder?

Hi all...
It`s been a while that I`ve been having problems with Pisco and his eating...It`s not that he doesn´t like his food....It`s just that he won`t do it alone...my husband or I have to be beside him in order for him to eat and usually what I have to do is put my hand in his bowl and swish around his food and then he continue eating...
I tried every thing...feeding him at the same time every day, not leaving unwanted food in the bowl ...to keeping his bowl full at all times...he just won`t eat alone...If I walk into the kitchen or am in the kitchen for any reason then he comes and eats some but as soon I leave the kitchen off he goes behind me....I know he`s hungry because he would eat every thing in his plate (as long as Cris or me are with him)....according to my Vet he (Pisco)is just very spoil and pampered :( ...but I am very worried since he just won`t eat....he is 9 month, weight 25 kilograms (about 55 pounds) and is 60 cms (24") high ...
the more he eats is when I mix tuna into his dog food...but still won`t do it alone.....water he drinks at all times alone or not...
Please do any of you have any idea of what I could do?

to fix walters bad eating habits we started to feed him twice a day in a cage (this is important if your dog shows any kind of aggressive behavior around food, if not im not so sure you need this) and we leave him alone for 15 minutes. if he doesnt eat then we pick up his food and he has to wait until next time. usually he picks at his food in the morning and then by dinnertime he is very hungry so he finishes it all.

his trainer also recommended mixing it with gravy, so dogs who tend to want to save their food will like it so much that they will eat it all in one sitting.
Shanti also have eating problems... well that what I thought! :? I asked his vet if it normal, he said that is ok... Shanti eats less than 2 cups of food. I have tried with all brands (Eukanuba, Hills, Pro Plan, Royal Canin) . He doesn't go "crazy" for the food. Vet said he would eat the amount he really needs. (Once I thought that he wasn't crazy about his food as I was training him with food treats. .. so he was behaving as us when we have a lot of snacks before diner)-

Now I just feed him once a day (dinner) and if I mix his balanced food with something else he would eat everything - but that way I am un-balanced his food...

Wrapping up, if he is hungry, he will eat what ever you put on his plate or even he is alone… mmmm I think…. Hope helps.
oooopppps.. That last email were from Shanti and me
besos
