Christmas Gifts for Dogs

Ok, let's get a great list of Christmas Gifts for Dogs going!

Or Chanukah Gift for Dogs

Or Kwaanzaa Gifts for Dogs

The general idea is:

Holiday Gifts for Dogs!

We all know about Bones and Frosty Paws. Any innovative Gifts for Dogs out there?

How about a Day of Doggie Day Care or a Doggy Spa or a Doggie Daycare Spa or something like that? Do any dog daycare providers have gift certificates for a "special day for your dog" or anything like that?

Perhaps a gift certificate for grooming and swimming? lol

Start listing!

Dudley recieved a bag of pig ears from his grandfather last year. He nicely shared with his doggy cousins.

This is a great post!

I don't have much to contribute...but I am looking for a great idea to send to our OES rescue for Marg and the sheepies from Murphy!

All I can come up with is making some dog biscuits? BORING!!!!! :(

So I hope someone has some great ideas!!!
I always get my pets gifts and they get a stocking too. Last year it was new collars, several toys, treats, bandanas, and jewellery for their collars.
I don't think my husband would like it if I got Barney jewelry for his collar...He already has forbidden 'manly' hair clips (even when they are done in his clan tartan!)
Costco always has doggie holiday bags filled with treats and toys and bears. I usually get my dog one of those for christmas all nicely wrapped up and then I let them rip it open.
Tasker is getting a new pair of boots  and a BRIGHT ORANGE VEST (we have IDIOT hunters) and his very own blue squeaky sheep.

Ty is getting a new purple sweater (I'm knitting it :P ) with matching fleece boots and a squeaky monkey.

That's it soooooooo far.
I'm taking the easy way out and ordering 4 "puppy bouquets" from Candy Bouquet. They'll even put in some new toys if you ask.
Bentley is getting a Christmas iQube, a referee chew toy, another puzzle toy and a day at the spa.

Kayli is getting a day with her Jillie while Bentley is at the spa.
A day at the spa sounds cool :)
After reading about Petey  I'm thinking he needs medical care worse then my guys need more treats, so my present to them will be a check for Petey.

Nice idea Holly! :)
I've had my eye on a U of A logo leash and doggie cap at the store in the student union building across from my office - but that will depend on whether Miss Q is naughty or nice. I've always found that our dogs have liked bone shaped cookies made from left over gingerbread dough.
Annie has her own holiday stocking (OES is needlepointed on it) which I fill with goodies and I'll probably pick up a new "baby" for her. She really loves her stuffed toys and carries them around all the time. The puppy bouquet sounds like a great idea and I might look into that too!
Has anyone seen the doggles? Yes they are sunglasses for dogs! We are coming into a very hot summer and have been thinking about them for christmas for the girls. They also prtoect the eyes from damaging rays of the sun. My eldest son has a ute and has a saftey harness(like a dog seat belt) in the back of it and Kelsey the older dog loves to ride around in the back of it, not a manly look, a big fluffy dog, as you usually see blokes and their utes with blue heelers or something macho like that in the back. He always gets a laugh when he pulls up at a mates place with his fluffy princess in the back  I think Kelsey would like that while she hangs her head over the cabin of the ute and the wind blows in her face :D

That's a great idea....
I recently posted a picture of our dog in doggles. I think they're totally hip.

Anyways, we're getting our relatives one of those video tapes that you play when you leave the house. Most of our family is just as obsessed as we are about dogs, but one of Mr. Joah's sisters is sensitive to what her dogs watch while she's gone. I GUESSSSSS her dogs flip out and start stressing with certain sounds.

So, we found some videos at this store made to help "Dogsit" your dog while you're away. Plus, we've heard great things about things like this on the news.

We all give dog stockings, ornaments (I should post a pic of the latest OES one we received!!!), and unique dog toys each year.
Blitzen is getting a new bed for Christmas, she has started to sleep in my youngest sons room at nighttime, and so she needs a bed there too. And she is getting another stuffed toy. She is always carrying a toy, so she weares them out. Last Christmas she got a stuffed Santa Claus, and that is still here favourite toy, so perhaps we can find here a reindeer this year :D
Hubby and I went Christmas shopping for our sons on Friday and ended up spending over $100 on just Bosley, instead! A new baby-gate with a door that swings open, a HUGE bag of chicken-flavoured rawhide strips, and an X-large doggy seat-belt. And we haven't bought him any toys yet!
