Cruise pictures

Okay, I finally got everything in order!! Here's the link to our vacation pictures:

http://www.kodakgallery.com/ShareLandin ... 0610369707

When the page comes up, on the right, under the Continue button, you can click on View Photos Without Signing In.

I put 4 albums out there - Aruba, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Adventure of the Seas (the ship). When the first picture comes up, on the top left corner it will say Kodak Easy Share Gallery, and under that it will say Chris's Slideshow, and under that will be the album title. You may have to scroll down a bit to see the picture titles. Be prepared - there are 167 pictures!

Enjoy! We sure did!

Ohhhh . . . . and to think I wasn't going to go to the internet at all today . . . guess where I'm headed now?

Aruba of course, via Chris' pictures.
Wow! What a wonderful vacation!! I'm hardly in the mood to work now after visiting the Caribbean this morning. :D
The color of the water!!! Wow, that is amazing. Chris, it looks like you had a great trip!
Tammy, I'll meet you at the airport cuz I'm not in the mood to work now either!

What a great vacation, Chris I love your pictures - especially the sculptures!
Okay, I'm offically envious :) Wonderful pictures, you and Dale look so relaxed and happy. Strange how I feel the need for a pina colada.
Sounds good to me, Jil! Give me an hour! :D
Hey, wait for me! I'll be the official tour guide!
Chris
Ahhh the pictures of St. Thomas remind me of a trip that Joan and I took there. We stayed at Frenchman's Reef... it was for a Dunkin Donuts convention! lol Joan was a vendor to them at the time, and I think it was in 1987 or 1989.

We met, and actually shared a table for 4 with Michael "Fred the Baker" Vale and his wife. He's the guy who used to say "Time to make the doughnuts!" in their commercials.

It was a twisty little road up to Frenchman's Reef from Charlotte Amalie, (which is where the cruise ship is parked in Chris' pictures) and the taxi driver whipped us around those little roads like he was driving a Formula One! lol

It was a great trip, and the fact that > 50% was paid for by Joan's company really made it nice. :D
I LOVE a group road trip! All aboard!! :D
Wow!!! I love the water...its just beautiful...I cant wait to go to hawaii..we leave in April....I wanna go NOW!!!!!
What a great idea, Tammy! Get all our sheepie people together to go! Can you imagine what fun that would be????
Chris
Cool Photos, Chris! Thanks for sharing. :-) I've never been on a cruise, and I always wanted to know what the insides of the boats were like.

Did you ever feel like it was crowded on the boat?

I think it would be fun to do a Sheepie People cruise. 8)
~Katie.
The elevators definitely felt crowded sometimes, but everywhere else was just like a regular resort area. The ship is basically a floating city!

LOTS!!
Count me in!!

Now, I'm really not going to get anything done at work today!

Royal Carribbean ships also go to Spain, Portugal, Venice . . . I just did a little bit of research.
I can't go in 2006 because I am taking my nephew to Italy for this 10th birthday. But if you want to pre-plan for 2007 vacation, count me in. I'd love to go to Spain & Portugal!!
Hey - I want to go to Italy for my 10th birthday! Or my xx birthday for that matter!

How 'bout this one? I've been drooling over this cruise for a couple years now.

And to get back to Chris' cruise . . . Chris, your ship had it's maiden voyage on my 40th birthday. How come I wasn't on it, that's what I'd like to know!?!

Now, I really do need to get some work done.....................
Great photos!! I viewed all 167 of them!

Sigh the warm warm weather...sandy beaches...beautiful blue water....

Okay everyone...lets go cruising together!! I get dibs on that good looking singer though!

Marianne and the boys
We've been thinking about the Alaska cruise, too - probably for 2007. Everyone I've talked to who has gone on it says it's spectacular!!

I'm definitely sold on cruising, though!!

Chris

PS: Marianne, the singer was actually our cruise director. He's definitely a hottie!! He's from the UK, so he has a really cute accent, too!
Jil - That cruise looks wonderful and those prices are very reasonable, too. I have ALWAYS wanted to go on a Med Sea cruise (or Black Sea...or both).

Chris - The Alaska cruise is the one my SIL has been wanting my family to go on. She's trying to talk everyone into going together. It sounds spectacular! :D
 Most of the Alaska cruises depart from Vancouver . . . . which is right by Vancouver Island . . . .

Does anybody else think that this is cosmic?!??!?!?!

:D

( I still like the idea of being able to say, "sorry, can't do that for you that week because I'll be sailing the Mediterranean.")
Yuppers!!!

Means all of you will have to come and visit me!!!!

Marianne and the boys
I looked at EVERY SINGLE PICTURE!!!!!!!!!!!! They are wonderful!!! I am soooooooooo jealous...... Looks like you had such a great trip. I'm not sure I would have done well in the small cabin but the BEACH!!!!!!!!!!!
HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we had a sheepie cruise could we bring the puppies????
Hi Again,

Here's a site that shows the departure bays in Vancouver for the cruise ships. Canada place was built to resemble a ship with sails..kinda neat landmark in Vancouver. The float planes which only cost 75 dollars and take 20 mins fly to Vancouver Island/Gabriola daily are located around the corner from Canada Place Pier.

Come on you guys....you really should go cruising!

Marianne :D
Now I'm really missing summer. I'm sitting here and my hands and feet feel like icecubes. It looks like you had a wonerful time. I couldn't get over the climbing wall on the ship. I didn't know they had those. It did look like a mini city aboard. My youngest daughter went on cruise with her friend family in Sept. during hurricane season. I wasn't gonna let her go but I did and she had a wonderful time. Her friends mom said the ship rocked so much it was hard to walk straight and it was the worse cruise ever but Lauren loved it. i never went on one.
I've actually thought about a Mediterranean cruise for next year or the year after. We've been on several cruises to the Caribbean on Carnival and Royal Caribbean cruise lines. They are a blast! And you eat like a piggie! Too bad the sheepies couldn't come along. Can you see them all around a midnight buffet 8O

We'd definitely be up for a OES people cruise in the next 1-2 years. How about it everyone? I think we can even get a group discount. We can make up tshirts that say, for example "Annie's Mom", with a picture of our pooch. I've seen families do that on cruises where each person has a tshirt indicating how they are related to the person who is celebrating an important birthday, i.e. "Bob's Sister Inlaw". It's very funny!
I just looked at the pictures! Beautiful!! Mr Joah and I have always talked/looked into going on a cruise!!! That'll definitely be something we do soon (next). My in-laws always talk about how relaxing and fun they are because you get to see everything and the cruise boats have everything on them. I guess the perfect cruise for us right now would be one in Alaska ;)
Chris, thanks for sharing the pictures! I've been meaning to plan our 2006 vacation and keep putting it off but now I'm really motivated :D The island pictures are incredible! And I can't believe that cruise ship, it's like a floating city.
It is indeed a floating city! Anything you could possibly want is on the ship. I'm ready to go back!

I still think it would be TOO cool if a bunch of sheepie forum people could get together for a cruise. Just think about it - leaving the cold and snowy winter in January or February, and basking in the sun on a tropical beach - aaaahhhhh! Not this year, of course, but maybe 2007 or 2008. Any takers???

Chris
Me! Me! Me!! I wanna go!!!
I was just downstairs getting my lunch and the travel agency down there has a sign out - Looking For Groups That Like To Travel - I thought of US!!
WELL, get on it Jil!!!!!!!!!!!
I just might!

Everyone here is annoying me today so that would definitely be more rewarding!
