He thinks he is so smart...

Bosley, 7 months, is such a good boy...most of the time...He never gets into the garbage, or counter-surfs, or does much in the "illegal" sense. Well, hubby cooks in my house, and the kitchen is always a mess when he is done. I was cleaning up after a supper of pork chops etc, garbage container out on a chair, food scraps still on plates on the table, and a left-over pork chop on the edge of the counter. I brought Bosley in, as he hadn't had his supper yet, and was also getting his dinner ready. I took the recycling out the garage door and got a teeny bit panicky as he had been left alone for a few seconds in the kitchen. When I got back in, sure enough, he had just lay down on the floor, waiting patiently for his dinner. Nothing touched..not the bones, the pork chop, the garbage was still intact....So I gave him a teeny piece of meat, as he lay there so good. A few minutes later I saw him suddenly get a hold of something in his mouth, and he shuffled out of the kitchen with it in his mouth, very quickly and quietly, down the hallway with his prize. I yelled at hubby to see what he had, thinking pork chop bone or whatever... Well, he didn't keep it in his mouth for very long, as when we reached him he had dropped a round, very fresh onion!!!! With a small, puncture hole in it. Poor Bosley. Even when he tries to be a thief he isn't a good one.

Practice makes perfect . . . .

Rosco is offering to give him lessons
What a riot. Maybe he learned his lesson and won't do that again (yea, right). Annie gives free lessons too, but only when noone is at home!
What a riot!

Who knows, at least with Barney, maybe onion breath would be an improvement!

So far, Barney has only stolen a habenero pepper from the kitchen, and I think that was with help from our cat, who LOVES stealing peppers. I looked over and it looked like he had one of those candy corn pumpkins in his mouth (we had just bought some of those) so I went over to get it and he dropped it and I nearly had a heart attack...can you imagine the effect of that on a sheepie tummy! Phew, no punctures...
Kayli loves loves loves loves loves onions! Since I found out they're bad for her I have become the worst Mom EVER and only give her a thin slice instead of 1/4 of the onion.

Strange, but true, onions make her breath sweet and pleasant.
Bosley's Mom

I can just imagine that little imp stealing onions!! You must have just been laughing too hard to dicipline the little/big fella!
