, giving his Medication and hidrating him (gatorade, serum, and jello),watching every time he pooped... his tummy was hurting a lot since he kept crying and all he wanted was me beside him rubbing his belly..... but the story continues.......... On saturday I came down with an Intestinal infection and got very ill (better now....still on meds) (Dr. says it has nothing to do with Pisco been sick before) the thing is that I had to stay in bed for 4 days with many trips to the bathroom ![]() I think is his way of saying "thank you...you took care of me now is my turn".... sorry If the story got a little long but I just had to share it with you all. Vero and Pisco. |

Too cute! - I swear these dogs are far more sensitive and intelligent than we give them credit for.... |
I believe our dogs can sense when something is wrong. I recently lost my beloved mother and was off in a room by myself crying. Truman, who is usually quite the active puppy, quietly came into the room and walked up to me and laid his head against my leg. I swear he looked at me with compassion in his eyes. I believe he knew I was heartbroken and was trying to comfort me. |
Hi Vero,
That's a wonderful story and I have no doubt Pisco knew you were ill and tried to be of comfort to you. Dogs sense our moods and even the most rambuncious become gentle around their family if they are ill. Hope you feel better soon and thanks for sharing this story. |
