Introducing Crash!

Hi all,

I suddenly realized that I have been a bit remiss recently. I thought maybe a quick update would be in order. Hubby, the kitty girls and I are moved into our new home. After a small adjustment period everyone is all comfy and lovin the new digs! Iris was up and at em within an hour, I guess after 9 years of life major adjustments just don't faze you anymore? She was out and about exploring her new domain, and is defintely queen of the new roost. Bell was not quite as happy with the move, she complained the whole way to the house, and spent the first few days holed up in our bedroom, only coming down to chase an occasional fly, and eat. She's all better now though, and has decided that this whole house thing really is an improvement over the tiny apartment after all!

I'm happy to announce the introduction of a new "kitty girl" to the mix, my sister's kitty girl Crash!!! Crash and Christina have come to live with us while my sister works towards getting her master's degree! Hooray!!! All the kitty girls are playing very well together, we've had no arguments whatsoever, and everyone has decided that sharing is good including sharing food bowls, litter pans, water bowls, beds and treats  I'm gonna put a few new pics of all three kitty girls in the pictures forum here soon.

Renovations on our house have been coming along- the kitchen is now 2/3 done and is completely functional, but I've run out of steam on finishing the cabinet's doors and sides. I also managed to catch a monster cold over the weekend, which put a big wrinkle in my plans for cleaning up the apartment and continuing reno work during my week off. There are a few pics of our house in the photo album if you're curious!

Anyhow, just wanted to let everyone know how we were doing, and to give a big welcome to our newest fuzzy addition!!!

Karen

next time, let hope it's a sheepie ;)

Thanks for the update, Karen! So nice to know the move went well and everyone is adjusting to their new home.

Can't wait to see pics of your kitty girls, including the newbie Crash!

Glad that the renos are coming along well, too. I'm gonna cruise over to the photo gallery and check out the pics! :D
Welcome, Crash!!!

Nice house Karen-congratulations and enjoy!

Nice big yard, looks like enough room for
a sheepie duo, trio or quartet! :D

Best wishes!!
Looking forward to pictures of kitties and the house!!

Glad to hear you are settled in!
I'm so happy for you Karen! You're closer to getting an OES now! Yay! :)
I really thought it was going to be an OES. Geesh
That's so nice that the kitties get along -- it is not always easy introducing cats. What a great welcome you've given Crash. Pictures of your house look really nice as do all the kitties.
Great looking house Karen! Lots of yard for new sheepies, if you'd like I could loan you some so you'll know how many will fit
