We got Barney last March, after it had warmed up enough just to be chilly, but not frosty. And he had come from Southern California, so he had not experienced frost there, either.

So this morning it was down in the mid 30s and very light frost on the ground. Sheepie runs out to take care of his morning constitution and notices that he can see his breath. He didn't like seeing his breath so he proceeded to run around chasing his breath and biting at it. I think he was trying to herd it Rolling Eyes It was hilarious to watch, though!
What a visual, imagining Barney chasing his breath! Laughing What clowns these sheepies are!
Chris
Laughing Wait til it snows and he tries to catch the flakes Rolling Eyes
That's funny, Steph! Very Happy Silly sheepie! Very Happy
LOL! Poor Barney Laughing , he must have thought someone was messing with him.
Oh my god... That is so funny. Only a Sheepie would notice that.
They just seem so aware of their surroundings. Unlike any other breed of dog I have even seen.
Elissa
That is hilarious... just when you need a camcorder! LOL Laughing
What a funny story! If he was a girl we could call her a typical Valley Girl. I agree, snow will be a kick! Keep your camera ready.
Panda says that is normal....if it is in the air, its worth trying to catch...
Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing
That is so silly, Smile and I bet Max will do that too as soon as we get some chillin weather!! It is starting to dip down into the 40s at night, so it won't be too long!!

Sharon
Hi Barney,

That's so funny!

I remember one of the members posting years ago about their silly sheepie trying to outrun the rain! Your story reminded me of how much these boys/girls can make us laugh by their antics.
