| I just googled and found out why.......confirming a suspicion....cornstarch will breakdown in the canning process. Having over cooked a few cornstarch recipes in my life, I can relate.......LOL. Also in the google search they listed kraftkitchens as a source for Clearjel........curious, instant Clearjel not for canning, but suitable for freezing. hmmmm. |
I made it this weekend and froze it, a half bushel of apples is lots of peeling  Peaches are easier! |
