Dudley as Hairy Pawter

Tonight at the Pet Smart, they had a Howl-o-ween party. People brought their dogs in and got their photos taken. They had trick-or-treat bags for dogs and cats, and the training instructor was running some fun games and a parade through the store. It was good opportunity to bring Duds for some socialization. The #1 "breed" we saw tonight was....<drum roll> PIT BULLS! It was kind of amazing, actually. All of them were real sweet dogs, especially the pups. Such a misunderstood breed. A close second were cock-a-poos. There were no sheepies, a couple boxers and some english bulldogs - one looked like a sausage and had to be wheeled in on a wagon, which was kinda sad. Lotsa mutts. (go mutts!)

And Duds, of course, was the best-dressed one. ;-) Here's a scanned copy of the Pet Smart photo:

Tommorrow if it' s not raining after work, we will go pumpkin picking. I think Duds can sniff out a good one.

Your Howl-o-ween party sounds more fun than ours!! We just got back from PetSmart, and there was no parade or fun games  The trainer did make Max go through the usual tricks, and then we had his photo taken as Darth "Sheepie" Vader, it turned out so cute so it was worth the dark and rainy drive tonight!!! Just wish there would've been more doggies there!!

Sheepie Vader? That sounds real cute! It poured here, too - most of the day. :-( Sorry to hear that your party needed more pooches. We had TOO many!

Dudley's not too much of a ham  Perfect pose!
Aww, He looks adorable....and what a great smile :D

I love his smile... Go Dudley!
I just saw Dudley as "Hairy Pawter" That is a great photo, I don't have a scanner but I'll take photos of Max dressed up as Sheepie Vader on Halloween, as we plan on taking him out with the kids. It's been fun dressing him up, maybe we should make our dogs dress everyday

HEHEHEHEHE, great costume!!!!
Thanks, the doggy barding is from my medieval re-enactment club. I am making another one for him in solid green to match his fancy sparkely carting harness with the same trim along the bottom. :-) Duds likes to be well-dressed.

Sheep Vader...hah!

The wife won't let me dress up Pooh for Howl-O-Ween... :(
