adopting 4 years old oes

Hi
I am thinking about adoption of 4 years old oes. Is that a good idea? Will she (the dof is female) start loving me:):) soon ...or it will never happen with such an old dog. I just have no possibility to take care for a puppy...?

I think you need to worry she will love you too MUCH :D OES bond quickly with people, I'm sure others will be able to attest to that. Good luck!
I have adopted all of my Sheepies, Tyler was one month shy of his Fourth birthday and after nearly 9 years together, we are still crazy about each other. I just spent the weekend bathing three sheepies, blow drying three sheepies and shearing three sheepies... While the hair cutting was going on, they kept butting one another out of the way so they would be the sheepie getting the attention....

You should have no problem and I agree with BestDogs, you will have to watch out for too much love. They have some sense of knowing that you are special and they show it all the time.

Enjoy and know you should have many years with the new member to your family.
Puddy adopted me when he was approximately two years old. Our bond was really quick. He is now a typical velcro sheepie. I am no longer able to make trips to the bathroom alone (thought that was over when the kids were grown). I only have the experience with the one, but if I can ever convince the hubby, there will be more. I think that getting an older sheepie has it's advantages. Maybe you will luck out and get one that is already housetrained.
Chumley came to me at age 8 1/2. We had no problems with bonding. She is incredibly sweet and loving and eager to please. 4 is practically still a puppy!
3 days and the sheepdog will be all yours! :)

More like YOU will belong to her...

By all means, go ahead and adopt! Our Sofa stole our hearts the same day we took her, and she's been a loving furball ever since.
I agree! It took all of about 10 minutes with our 3 year old rescue, Murphy! He hasn't been more than 4 feet from me since! 8O

He is the sweetest sheepie! I am certainly glad he picked me! :D
Thank you very much to all of you. I apreciate your advices andmaybe will adopt the dog:):) Thanks you!
Go for it!! It seems like the rescues are so greatful for good loving homes that they love us even more than the ones we get as pups! They are great!! There are a lot of benefits to getting an adult dog! Four yrs old is still very young!!

ENJOY YOUR NEW SHEEPIE!!
