Christmas Toys

Bentley just loves his IQube and look what I found in the JB Pet catalog last night - a Christmas IQube! He'll be so excited!

Then I found this . . . I'm not one for dressing up my animals, but the thought of Bentley wearing this just makes me laugh

I wish Clyde liked educational toys! I bought him a costume for Halloween of similar style as the Christmas one and when they say "dogs over 50 pounds" they mean about 51 pounds! I got him a XXlarge and the part that goes on his back barely touches his sides!
My 2 just love their IQube, :) but imagine the fun they could have if the ball had a hat as well it could be tossed shaken wow
You'll just have to buy one for Bently

I found out about the I-cube from another post. It has been the best toy. Mojo loves his. As soon as Ronnie gets home from work, Mojo runs to get it to play tug-of-war. It is the only toy he hasn't torn up. I always hide treats in it and put it somewhere for him to find when I have to leave. Thanks for the post. Love the Christmas one, it is so cute.
Bentley sticks his head in the cube, grabs a ball and then shakes his head as hard as he can so the cube goes flying across the house.

What I really need is a HUGE cube with 50 balls in it. Four balls is just not enough!
I agree! A bigger cube with more balls would be great. Bailey does the same thing, runs around with the cube on his nose then shakes his head till it flies off. I'll definitely be ordering the Xmas one.
einy just didn't get his

he managed to get all the balls out but hes not interested in the cube more in the evil squeaky balls their all over the place

he brings them to you all wet and horrid and squeaks them in your face if you ignore him he think "well they don't like the red one lets try the blue one " and this goes onand on until we give in or put them in the toy cupboard

the cube he manages to get his foot in one hole and out another then graps it with his teeth then wonders why hes limping round the house with a cube stuck on his leg so we keep it away from him for his own safetey

that won't stop me getting the xmas one while i'm in the states for him he will love the balls his are all falling apart anyway

einy squeak the soggy yellow ball in agreement

Jil, the thought of Bentley in that suit makes me laugh  Will his feelings be hurt if Rosco and Clyde laugh at him?
I agree the box needs to be a bit bigger....like shoe box size (Samantha is enjoying stealing everyone's shoes at the moment)!

Einy never fails to crack me up! He's so funny!

I think we will have to try this IQube...sounds like a lot of fun!
I'm going to get one for my dogs this year too. I have a feeling Sky will swallow the balls whole... but we'll see. LOL
I don't think Bentley's feelings would be hurt and if they are, he'll just chase after Clyde & Roscoe.

He says he has the legs for it and he would look fetching.

I think he'd look hilarious. I'd probably have to drug him to get it on him, but then I could groom him too and everyone in the house wouldn't have to watch their backs for a while . . . he's been obnoxious the past couple days, can you tell?
He wants to go on another trip :D How's the no pull going? Did you use any of the agility stuff yet?
Ha, I think the trip was the trigger . . . he had me to himself for two days and now if Calvie or Otis or god-forbid Kayli comes within 5 feet of me he flips out. It's getting better with the cats, but poor Kayli is now staying far away from me.

The no pull is going okay. I have been working with him, but his attention span has diminished as the week progressed, even with going to the dog park every night. Yesterday he jumped on me at the dog park and wouldn't let go - biting at me all the way. We left. He was like "what did I do?" He got his dinner hand-fed 3 kibbles at a time and that seemed to make a difference; I was able to brush a little bit (still mouthy/squirmy, but with not as much effort put into it on his part) and he was okay for the rest of the night.

No agility stuff yet, but I'm thinking tomorrow. (I'm at work again right now.)
These big dog costumes are hilarious. If you don't get the free magazine, I totally suggest it because there are pages of costumes.
