Would you believe

I was looking for a terrier pup on the internet for a friend because our local animal shelter had none . I came accross a advert for oes pups looking for homes . There was a picture of about 11 pups feeding off their mother . They were adorable . The owner said he didnt mean to breed his two oes but they did anyway. You wouldnt believe it but he was selling them for 1 euro each. That made me so angry  and sad  for them poor unwanted pups . They will either end up been bought ( hopefully by a good owner), Or in a shelter or been put to sleep. I believe in neuturing you dog if you are not going to be a responsible breeder or showing . I think the rule of not been allowed to show a neutured dog should be changed . It should be encouraged not frowned upon and that add just confirms that. WHAT DO YOU THINK

I agree with you. Why is that rule in place anyway. Its the dog that you show not its breeding ability. :?
Hi Stephanie,
Welcome to the forum.

I am pleased i am not the only one who puts things in the wrong place

I just worked out 1 euro = 67p 1.19$ That is ridiculous  It dosn't bare thinking where some of those poor puppies will end up :(

I agree it would be a good thing if neutered dogs could be shown.
But I do think we still need to have uneutered Champions in the big important shows sutch as crufts to keep the breed standard.

Totally agree!

Why can't a neutered dog be shown?
...and people wonder how the gene pool gets contaminated with problems. Imagine of just a few of those pups are used to breed future litters........and so on.

I wouldn't consider having an intact dog if I'm not showing......and doing well at that. I'm for improving the breed, not just making more.
