my breder uses pro plan food, but my vet says science diet is better. ???
fergie is on the science diet But I plan to change her to the Por Plan. The breeder has used it for 25 years and has no proublems with it. Snacks are rawhide chews and milkbones. Also I buy marrow bones and microve them. when they are done I fill them with peanutbutter and freeze them. THEY LOVE THEM
thanx we have been feeding wellness because kaye said it was the best for him but we were wondering what everyone else thought to.
This has already been discussed... Here is the thread http://forum.oes.org/viewtopic.php?t=1311

I feed my dogs Authority Large Breed Dog food Chicken & Rice
It's PetSmarts Premium Food... It's the only food Pepsi has not had a problem with. We started him on the Lamb & Rice but it doesn't come in the Large Breed formula which has glucosamine & chondrotin in it so we switched to the Chicken

Wellness is an excellent food.

We feed Canidae dog food. For treats, Canidae snap biscuits,
Wellness sweet potato/fish treats.

For training, we use bil jac liver treats.
einstein is on royal canin maxi junior

i tried loads this is the only one that does not upset him tum

its a bit pricey however i pay about £40 for 15 kg
We were on Nutro...does well for Remy, but because we had a financial crunch we switched to PetsMart Authority as well, lg breed adult, and she does just as good.

It better to find something that works for your own dogs, we did a taste test to see which one Remy liked. We placed 3 different dog foods, and 3 differnet price ranges...she picked Nutro and gobbled it up...that was mid price. Then she picked the most expensive next, and the cheaper was never touched.....so we put her on Nutro.

The Authority by the way was not in this test.

We feed all different treats...something new all the time.
Jasper eats Iams. For treats, milkbone biscuits or the denta-bones. He doesn't eat many treats though. I end up finding most of them on the floor in another room.
